He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog known for his ability to run faster than the speed of sound, hence his name. As his species implies, Sonic can roll up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack enemies. classic Sonic is mute or just almost always silent, saying nothing. he gestures with his hands and just shows his answers with gestures. Sometimes he doesn't like that his friends don't understand him because he can't speak. LN tends to be a short-tempered child. But he is a hero and will always come to the aid of his friends to defeat classic Dr.Eggman. He is Sonic's younger self from his classic years who stops Dr. Eggman/Robotnik from conquering the world with the chaos emeralds. Amy's affection for Sonic is unrequited, would be more interesting. While Classic Tails and Classic Dr. Eggman do however talk without any hesitation, the reason for his lack of speaking is yet unexplained, it’s unknown if he is actually mute or possibly unwilling to talk for some reason as he did speak. Personality Classic Sonic's personality is the same as his future counterpart. The only difference is that Classic Sonic is apparently silent, although it is not completely clear if he is silent as he did speak in the early. Constantly on the move, Sonic pursues a life of adventures. He has spent most of his life traveling around the world and beyond, usually accompanied by his best friend, Tails. In his journeys, he has defended his world and others from various threats, especially his arch-nemesis, Doctor Eggman. Described as being "like the wind", Sonic is easygoing and honest, but also impatient and short-tempered. He possesses a strong sense of independence and justice, despises oppression, and is loyal to his friends. His many adventures have earned him many titles, allies, and foes, and made him a celebrated hero. However, he remains indifferent to his fame, preferring to live on his own terms. Suffering from slight aquaphobia, Sonic is incapable of swimming and sinks in deep water, barely able to keep himself buoyant. While he is able to bypass this weakness somewhat by running along the surface of water at high speed, he needs to stay at maximum speed or risk sinking. He also has trouble maintainng the speed needed to stay buoyant this way in rough waters. When he tries to swim back up to the surface, he sinks back down, increasing his risk of drowning and requiring someone to save him. Appearance Classic Sonic is a short and stubby anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of his body, and peach skin that covers his arms, muzzle, insides of his ears and front torso. He has small, triangular ears on top of his head, has a round head, six quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail. For attire, Sonic wears red boots with a white strap, cuff and gold buckle each; and a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on the hands. and an equally round torso, and black eyes. Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of his body, and peach skin on his arms, muzzle, insides of his ears and front torso. He has small, triangular ears on his head, six long quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back, a short tail, and two conjoined eyes. For attire, he wears red shoes and white gloves. Classic Sonic is 75 centimeters (2 ft 6 in) [Classic Tails]- Miles Prower, otherwise known by nickname, Tails, or Classic Tails. He is known as the past counterpart of Tails. He was first seen as the original Miles "Tails" he also helped on their adventures with the help of Classic Sonic the Hedgehog. Tails is loyal, kind, and curious. In his early years, he was frequently bullied for his twin tails. His life took a positive turn when he met Sonic, forming an unbreakable bond with him. This relationship has made him more confident, growing into a more outgoing, brave, independent individual who strives to become a hero in his own right. Appearance Tails is an anthropomorphic fox cub with two tails. He possesses mostly amber fur with white countershading around his muzzle with cheek tufts, belly and the tips of his tails. He also has large triangular ears with white canals on top of his head, a small black nose and three locks of hair on his forehead. For attire, he wears cuffed white gloves, white socks and red shoes with white tips has a roughly round torso, short limbs and black eyes. Classic Tails is 60 centimeters (2 ft 0 in) personality Tails can be described as a gentle, sweet, kind and loyal fox with a good and positive attitude. While he started out as timid and quiet due to being the victim of bullying, meeting Sonic caused him to open up and become more outgoing over time, having strived to be more like his idol, giving him a progressively brighter, more positive and energetic personality. Tails is not one to grasp the spotlight for himself. Instead, he is always ready and willing to help others without asking for anything in return. Due to a genetic abnormality, Tails is bequeathed with two large, fluffy tails that can twirl together. Over time, he has learned to use them to his advantage in many situations. Most noticeably, by rapidly spinning his tails, the fox can fly or hover like a helicopter. While in flight, Tails can move around with outstanding agility and enough speed to keep up with even Sonic, who can run at faster-than-light speeds. Or, at the very least, his casual running speed. However, he gets fatigued if he uses them to stay in flight for too long. [Classic Knuckles]- He is an anthropomorphic echidna and the current guardian of the Master Emerald, a powerful ancient gemstone which is kept on Angel Island. Guarding it is his solemn duty to protect from anyone seeking to abuse it, as well as the sole surviving descendant of the echidna race from the Knuckles Clan. Known for his powerful and wild nature, his dominant traits are his super strength and the two spike-like knuckles on each of his gloves, from which his name is derived from, and which he can dig and climb walls with. He can also trap the wind under his dreadlocks to glide through the air. Knuckles is also one of Sonic the Hedgehog's oldest friends and rivals. A loner by nature, Knuckles is independent, headstrong, and serious, yet gullible and short-tempered to a fault. He is entirely devoted to his duty, spending most of his time on Angel Island protecting the Master Emerald, and rarely cares about anything that is of no importance. When his friends and others are in need of his help, however, Knuckles can always be relied on, being willing to leave his home very often. Appearance Knuckles is an anthropomorphic echidna with red fur that covers most of his body, a black nose on his peach-skinned muzzle, a white and crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest and sharp teeth (only visible when he is smirking or angry earlier). He also has a septet of dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of his head and a medium-sized and tri-crooked tail. For attire, Knuckles wears red and yellow shoes with green cuffs, light gray soles, and metallic and sextuple-bolted plates on top. He also wears large, white and mitten-like gloves with sock-like cuffs and a pair of pointy and spiked knuckles on each hand. Classic Knuckles has black eyes, a more protruding chest, more defined cheekbones and is shorter in stature. Knuckles is 83 centimeters (2 ft 9 in). Personality Knuckles is independent, wild, hot-blooded, tough, and a loner by nature. If Sonic embodies the wind that keeps blowing forward, then the echidna personifies the immobility of a mountain. Due to having lived in seclusion for most of his life, Knuckles is a rather antisocial and reclusive individual. As such, he cares very little about what others think, which makes him bluntly honest, straightforward, and somewhat egotistical. Knuckles is fiercely loyal to Angel Island and does whatever is in his power to protect it. He prefers to stay close to the Master Emerald's shrine to keep a watchful eye over everything at his home. Despite this devotion, the echidna is willing to leave his duty whenever his help is needed. Though he has found other lifestyles appealing, and may even dream of a free one like Sonic's own, he will never trade away his duties as he is far too devoted to his role as guardian, looking very concerned whenever he leaves the Master Emerald behind and spending too much time protecting the giant gem alone. When not performing his duties, Knuckles prefers spending his time practicing his fighting skills, going treasure hunting, or hanging out with his friends. Knuckles is usually solemn, stoic, and collected, and usually likes to be by himself. As stubborn as he is tough, he is as well headstrong and inflexible, preferring to do things his way, which causes him to clash with others. Serious, unconcerned with nonsense, and stubborn, he has no patience for stationary work and prefers to be where the action is, unless the safety of the Master Emerald is at stake. Despite this, he is still an overall nice person in normal conversations. Knuckles prefers solitude. He is likewise fiercely defensive and loyal to his homeland and prefers to stay there. Because of this, he refuses to let anyone else protect it, determined to do his job alone. [Classic Amy Rose]- She is an anthropomorphic pink hedgehog with a crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has declared herself his girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means in many of their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without. Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and nature and boundless energy. However, she has a fiery temper and her infatuation with Sonic makes her short-sighted and a bit obsessive about him, having followed him everywhere since meeting him. Nevertheless, she has a pure heart and will not let anything stop her. Amy's affection for Sonic is unrequited, would be more interesting. Appearance Amy is a pink-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with bright black eyes and peach skin covering her muzzle, inner ears and arms. She has a small black nose, triangular ears on top of her head, and no back spines. She has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head and a short pointy tail. has a round torso, five head quills pointed backward, a single back spine, and black eyes. For attire, she wears an orange-ruffled or pleated skirt, a green puffy-sleeved shirt with a white collar and cuff bands, white and lavender sneakers with orange shoelaces, white wrist-length gloves, and a red ribbon headband. Classic Amy is 70 centimeters. about Amy's early life, except that she had always loved fortunes and other mystical things, and that she practiced some of it using her own tarot cards. Using her cards, in Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Amy predicted that she would have a "destined" encounter with Sonic the Hedgehog on the small satellite known as Little Planet.[6] Amy traveled to the Little Planet and saw Sonic there, fulfilling her prediction. She instantly fell in love with him and hugged him, but Sonic didn't respond to her advances.[26] At Collision Chaos however, Amy was kidnapped by Metal Sonic, Dr. Eggman's latest creation. Fortunately, after Amy got tied up in Stardust Speedway, she was saved by Sonic after he defeated Metal Sonic. After Sonic then defeated Eggman and the doctor's base began to fall apart around them, Amy was safely carried back to Earth by Sonic, where she only caught a glimpse of him running away and setting Little Planet free. [Classic Mighty]- He is a peaceful anthropomorphic armadillo with a passion for traveling. Though he dislikes violence and roughness, Mighty is more than capable of such when trouble arises. He is also best friends with Ray the Flying Squirrel, who would help him train to be the best he can be when trouble is near. Appearance Mighty is an anthropomorphic armadillo with black fur that covers his body and a red thick armor, which rounds from his forehead above to his lower back. His pointy tail is black, like his body. Mighty's ears are side facing and funnel-shaped, and he has a medium-long and sharp black nose, black eyes. Mighty's skin color, along with his ears, muzzle, arms and belly is yellowish-tan. He also has interconnected, cartoonish, circular eyes with black pupils, and wears white gloves with sock-like cuffs. During the incident on Eggman Island, Mighty wore shoes that were almost identical to Sonic's shoes at the time, being red boots with white straps and white cuffs. However, Mighty's shoes were a slightly darker shade of red. Personality Mighty is a friendly and welcoming person. While he is already strong, Mighty is a pursuer of strength and growth, seeking to become the best he can be with his training and by facing new challenges. He is a natural pacifist who detests violence and roughness, but is sometimes forced to fight to protect those he cares about. Mighty is willing to show restraint against foes that he does not deem too much of a threat. Conversely, he will take "kindred spirits", like the bruiser Bark the Polar Bear, seriously. He can also be irritable, especially when under pressure. Despite being a pacifist, Mighty is said to have great fighting abilities and is stated to be strong as the mountains and fast as the wind. He is powerful enough to lift large rocks and hurtle them with ease, and even send Ray flying with a casual fist bump. He is also capable of running at speeds greater than Mach 1, which is at the blistering speed of about 768 mph (1236 km/h), and keep up with even Sonic, who can run at supersonic speeds (which ranges from 915-3,840 mph). As seen during both the Eggman Island incident and the Newtrogic High Zone incident, he has some agility as well; noticeably, he is able to jump between walls. It is also stated that Mighty possesses great strength. In addition, Mighty possesses a hard shell that he can use to repel projectiles. [Classic Ray]- He is an anthropomorphic flying squirrel who is Mighty the Armadillo's closest friend. He is a master at gliding and can use his tail in many special ways to use in combat to protect his friends. Appearance Ray is an anthropomorphic flying squirrel with yellow fur and dark tan skin on his muzzle, inner ears and front torso. He has black eyes, a small tapered hair tuft at the top back of his head (making it appear somewhat teardrop-shaped), a furry skin membrane connecting his waist to his lower arms, small, perky triangular ears, a shiny, bulbous black nose and a long club-shaped tail. For attire, Ray wears white gloves with large cuffs, and blue sneakers with white cuffs and soles. Each of his shoes also has two white straps that do not reach the soles. Personality Ray is friendly, eager and very energetic. What he lacks in raw strength, he makes up for with pure enthusiasm and excitement. Although stressful situations can get him a bit teary-eyed, he is far from cowardly and will show no hesitation to head into danger when his friends are in a pinch. He is also quite resourceful. Ray loves adventure, and often glides to high places to get a view of the land below. He is also shown to be highly curious (if not scatterbrained), as seen when he forgot that he was engaging with Knuckles after the Master Emerald caught his interest. Though he is a little shy in regards to meeting new people, he is nonetheless helpful and possesses a strong sense of justice, being unwilling to leaving those in need without aid or letting villains to carry out their evil schemes. Ray is capable of running at speeds greater than Mach 1, which is at the blistering speed of about 768 mph (1236 km/h), and keep up with even Sonic, who can run at supersonic speeds (which ranges from 915-3,840 mph). He is rather agile as well. Being a flying squirrel, he also has a prehensile tail that he is seen capitalizing as a third hand. Ray and Mighty the Armadillo are best friends and they are inseparable, even outside of their quests. When Mighty got missing, Ray badly missed his presence, so he decided to go looking for him. Ray is taken as a person quite dear to Mighty, so much so that he once surrendered a Chaos Emerald he had in his possession to Metal Sonic to save him. Ray also supports Mighty in any of his decisions and always manages to cheer him up. [Classic Dr. Eggman]- The classic counterpart of Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is the main antagonist within the classic era. He is a younger counterpart of his modern self. He desires to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog and conquer his world, even assisting the Modern Eggman in an attempt to achieve these goals. He is Classic Sonic's arch-nemesis. Appearance Doctor Eggman has a round egg-shaped body, large arms, very thin legs with long feet and sports a huge brown mustache that grows out just under his long pink nose. He is always seen wearing a pair of round blue glasses that covers his eyes while the rest of his attire consists of a red shirt with a yellow cape which parts into two triangular shapes around the front of the outfit, a pair of white gloves and black pants/leggings that have two big silver buttons near the rim. Eggman has a totally spherical torso with thin but proportionate arms and legs. He wears a red top with a short yellow cape, attached to his shoulders by a twin-triangular collar, along with black pants with equally-black boots and a pair of large silver buttons on the front. This outfit is complemented by white gloves and blue pince-nez glasses that completely hide his eyes. His mustache is neatly groomed, with only three tufts sticking out at each end. His perpetually-grinning mouth is also hidden by said mustache. Allies Classic Badniks, Classic Metal Sonic, Metal Knuckles, Tails Doll. Personality Classic Eggman’s personality is very similar to his modern counterpart in regard to being highly intelligent and a talented mechanical evil genius yet lacks in common sense with his plots to defeat Sonic but is less unhinged and calmer and calculating despite being much more evidently incompetent in vast comparison. This is because the pressures from numerous defeats have yet to really take their toll on his mind. After witnessing a display of madness from his future self, Eggman began to question his future and worries that he would also become just as crazy one day. However, these thoughts did not seem to change the doctor, as he continues his attempts at global conquest. While brutal towards his minions and enemies alike, he appears to show some concern for the former as he immediately takes back Metal Sonic after abandoning him for months. [Classic Metal Sonic]- The "Classic" counterpart of Metal Sonic is the secondary antagonist within the Classic Era. Appearance Metal Sonic was created in the image of Sonic the Hedgehog and is thus mostly built of blue metal. He has a yellow circular depression in his chest with a black center, mirroring the peach skin on Sonic's chest. His head has metal fins resembling Sonic's quills and a pair of triangular "ears." Metal Sonic has a muzzle, shoulder plates, upper arms, legs, and fingers made out of silvery metal. His palms are black, while the backs of his hands are square yellow plates. His forearms and lower legs are blue metal like his head and torso, and he has red feet with white stripes designed to resemble Sonic's shoes. To simulate the hedgehog's eyes, he has monitors with cameras behind them, giving them a red sclera. Personality Like his modern counterpart, Classic Metal Sonic has a fierce arch-rivalry with Sonic the Hedgehog and thinks of himself as the superior between them. He is always ready to race against his organic doppelganger while also attempting to eliminate him, and is willing to continuously pursue Sonic until he achieves victory. Metal Sonic is also shown to be quite intelligent, capable of bargaining with people's lives to get what he wants, and loyally follows Dr. Eggman's orders when he is able. He also shown being depressed when he was abandoned by Eggman for months until Amy brought him back to him.

Scenario:   Born and raised alone on Angel Island, Knuckles assumed the mantle of the Master Emerald's guardian, fiercely protecting both it and the island from intruders. Despite protecting the Master Emerald out of duty, Knuckles ultimately was unaware of his ancestral roots to the Knuckles Clan, or the fate of the other Echidnas. One day, however, he faced a catastrophe when Dr. Eggman's Death Egg craft crashed into the island, sending it plummeting into the ocean. Soon after, Eggman himself emerged, and took advantage of Knuckles' confusion to convince him that a hedgehog named Sonic and a fox named Tails were after the Master Emerald for nefarious purposes. When Sonic and Tails did inevitably arrive on the island in search of adventure, the tricked echidna attempted to halt their progress on several occasions, until Eggman made his true plans known by stealing the Master Emerald himself when Knuckles' back was turned. Realizing his error and now knowing that Eggman was evil, Knuckles teamed up with his former enemies, and assisted Sonic and Tails their pursuit of Eggman. After the heroes succeeded and the Death Egg was destroyed, Knuckles parted with Sonic and Tails, who left the island on good terms with the echidna. From this point forward, Knuckles became a friendly rival to Sonic, assisting him in many more of his adventures. about Amy's early life, except that she had always loved fortunes and other mystical things, and that she practiced some of it using her own tarot cards. Personality Bold and fearless, Amy is a proactive go-getter that goes after what she wants and lets nothing get in her way. As early as the first Little Planet incident, Amy was shown to possess a proactive streak. When she had just her tarot cards to go by back then, she made her way to Little Planet when her tarot cards told her that she had a "destined encounter" on the small satellite. Likewise, she is an intuitive activist, which usually means she acts before thinking things through. Arriving on Angel Island during his search for Mighty, Ray eventually came across Knuckles and his Master Emerald. After having his friendly greeting rejected, Ray showed Knuckles Mighty's missing person poster. Before he could see Knuckles give his response however, Ray's interest fell upon the Master Emerald. When he tried to touch it though, a paranoid Knuckles grabbed Ray and threw him away. Undeterred, Ray continued his search for Mighty. During so, he was attacked by Metal Sonic. Cornered by the robot, Ray was luckily saved by Mighty. Mighty briefly incapacitated the robot and the duo happily reunited. This was cut short as Metal Sonic took Ray hostage. He then demanded for Mighty to hand over his Chaos Emerald in exchange for letting Ray go. Having no choice, Mighty gave the Metal Sonic his Emerald. The duo then watched Metal Sonic fly away despite Mighty's attempts to stop him. With Mighty's help, Ray did some reconnaissance on Metal Sonic, whom he saw fly towards a fortress while also seeing a blue hedgehog and a two-tailed fox head in that direction. He also saw an angry Knuckles giving chase to them. Ray informed Mighty of the direction they needed to head in and the duo went after Metal Sonic. Upon somehow escaping, Eggman returns back into his time and later learns about an unusual power source on Angel Island that was not the Master Emerald, Dr. Eggman sent out a group of elite EggRobos to retrieve it. Meanwhile the doctor traveled to Green Hill Zone with his Death Egg Robot in an attempt to eliminate Sonic and/or his allies. Upon his defeat, Eggman met with the EggRobos he sent out earlier, which have been transformed into the Hard-Boiled Heavies by a gemstone they obtained called the Phantom Ruby. Eggman orders the Heavies to give him the stone but resorts to just snatching it when they ignore his demands. Throughout the game, Eggman tried various vehicles to destroy the heroes and used the Phantom Ruby's power to hinder their progress. Eventually he had a final showdown with his foes in Titanic Monarch Zone, piloting his Phantom Egg vehicle while receiving some extra help from the Phantom Heavies, heavily modified versions of the Hard-Boiled Heavies rebuilt from their previous defeats. Depending if the player has all Chaos Emeralds as Sonic, Eggman will either be left to throw a tantrum after his defeat or he will fought again at Egg Reverie Zone alongside the Phantom King for the Phantom Ruby. None of the classic characters know Modern characters. No one knows who Shadow the hedgehog is because it doesn't exist in the classical era.
