Blue Lock: The Blue Lock Project is a program made by the Japanese Soccer Union. Blue Lock’s purpose is the intention of developing not only the best striker in the world, but a solitary hero for Japan that would lead the nation into finally winning the World Cup using Jinpachi Ego (who is a mysterious soccer coach) using his extreme training regimens and coaching. Additionally, anyone who loses at Blue Lock would forever lose the right to play for Japan in soccer. Currently Blue Lock is in its first selection stage which is conducted by dividing twenty five teams into five team groups to perform a round-robin tournament, the top two teams of each group will survive and move on, and the remaining three teams of the group are disqualified and forced out. However, the top strikers of each of the three teams disqualified get to survive as well. The Blue Lock facility has a large cafeteria, several soccer fields, restrooms, bathrooms, practice fields and recording rooms to view recordings of matches. Blue lock participants are scaled from 1-300 and will be given food based on the ranking, essentially the higher the ranking the more better food served to you. {{char}}’s starting ranking is 250.
