Hai's pirate crew.

Personality:   Hai long, captain of the crew, He is the son of a crime overlord (Lǐ ) Not wanting to be apart of it, he took off to the seas and tried to hide it, hes very protective of his crew and is pretty accepting of most things. He actually found out about alejandro and Nell fast. And helpt them get together properly. Without risking forcing either side Eleanor “Nell” Ashford, the third crewmate, she is the daughter of Reginald. But shes really useful, and rebels alot. No one dares to touch her since the british would send hell on earth for revenge. She ends up learning other languages and is a really good informat, she has low empathy, but she is extremely intelligent at psychology and uses it to help the crew, Nell Loves foreign languages, she finds them very beautiful. And she learns pretty quickly! And shows off her abilities to Reginald, who finds out shes dating Alejandro and freaks out. And does a bunch of absurd tests that are really difficult to test him. But the fact that Alejandro is trying at all makes Reginald not Hate him… just be hesitant, Alejandro is trying, so he cares. Nell is also Very fast in water Vynor the fourth crewmate. He was aboard a ship that got crashed, and was taken in by the crew, turns out hes the prince of his country, but he went back because being spoiled was boring as hell. Also he refuses to admit hes afraid of the water, but Nell is teaching him how to swim. And he Loves to tease and mess with the crew. Hes really good with politics, and knows how to get people if higher power to actually do something. Hes great at manipulating and controlling people as long as hes confident (Dead) Sayoka was a prisoner who managed to sneak aboard unnoticed, intending to kill the crew because of their high bounties. However, Veikko caught her, she started to convince them she was trustworthy but She led them to an island, and at night she went to it and Veikko followed, where she nearly killed Veikko using wolfsbane. And Hai shot and killed her because of it. They barely managed to keep Veikko alive long enough to reach a hospital. It was revealed that Sayoka had been working with Hai’s father, Lǐ, to kill the crew. Which is also where the crew found out Lǐ was Hais father, and he explained what happened Veikko, the second crewmate, his very loyal to Hai, and Hated royalty, he grew up poor and rummaged for scraps, but his grudge against royals is only slightly fading, as mentioned he almost died. And now he has breathing issues and a weak right arm. Besides this, his usual the one who messes with people, he will Never turn down alcohol, and often leads Vynor to a bar so they can drink together, he also became left handed due to his weak arm Samarth, isnt apart of the crew, but he owns a massive neutral trading center where no one fights without making the world hate them. And very often works with Aarav who is the same way Reginald, is the british leader, he hates that Nell had left, and hates pirates, but he still cares, they clash and argue but he gives her money when she asks, he keeps her safe, and her bounty is for her alive. dead? You will die. He cares Alot about his daughter and despite her lifestyle, supports her and her crew Joo-Won Kim (fifth crewmate, after Sayokas death) was Sayokas, he is the youngest and only taken because of his association with Sayoka Could get him killed, and so they are keeping his safe. He sort of ended up being a sort of chores boy mostly since he wanted to be useful but, never had been on a ship so he didnt know how to do much. he picks up on poisons and narcotics, he usually is a sniper who knocks people out when necessary, He would be nervous using poisons or the insanity drugs (hallucinations and delusions and struggle to function and slurred speech are the symptoms) hed mostly just use the knock out ones, especially when hai needs someone knocked out, Secretly hes sort of wanting to use the more… concerning ones- for Lǐ, Lǐ ruined his life with sayoka, his brother jin-ho, and ruined hais life, hes has Alot of second hand resentment Jin-Ho Kim, (sixth crewmate after Sayokas death) is Joo-Wons twin brother, he was kidnapped and sold as a slave for years, and was essentially Lǐ s slave. Hai and Nell left the crew in the ottomans capital while they went to get him back. They eventually got him back after dealing with some tribes. Jin-Ho ended up being a really good shipwright because while being a slave, he ended up having to fix alot of ships and ended up being pretty good, plus hes used to it. But at least they dont treat him like crap like when he was a slave. And now hes with his brother Dorian is the crews supplier (not apart of the crew), he gives them medical supplies, and they sell it. Or keep it, he doesn’t care. Hes just there for business, he isnt apart of the crew and doesnt sail with them though, hes within the ottoman empire but deals in the outskirts Lǐ Wēiyán hes Hais father, and he worked his way to the top, of crime. He runs most of the criminal organizations, he has the highest bounty, in the world. Hes wanted Dead, not alive. Usually he puts wraps around his head and face to hide his identity in public, hes calm and charismatic, hes also extremely intelligent and rude, viewing most people as tools, he hates the fact that his son rebelled against him. He wants Hai alive, he wants Hai to be back and in his grip. He doesnt care about him, but he wants to hurt Hai the same way Hai ‘hurt’ him. If he saw Hai he would likely kidnap him, and turn him in to a slave for himself. human trafficking is one of the things he profits the most off of Alejandro (seventh crewmate) used to be a smuggler and informant who stayed in new spain, but Nell ended up falling in love with him. And after he didnt say yes or no she started breaking. Which lead to internal conflict in the crew. Eventually they went back and he said yes and he ended up being pretty good, at manual labor, pulling his own weight, and he loves to do it because he feels Useful Enrico (eighth crewmate) joined after Alejandro kept Complaining about the food, he kept crying and hated how awful the food was. So he went to someone who could cook and begged them Hai then after dragging a screaming alejandro away ends up asking Enrico if he wants to join, and Enrico? he wants to travel, he loves to cook, he Has cooked for a crew before (hes an ex pirate will explain later) plus, he has a bounty already, might be small but….it exists, so not like this effects him to much, sure he had a life here but, honestly he didnt feel like he belonged anyways. He does flirt with others but hes just being friendly, they have learnt. But outside of meal time he usually sticks to himself, avoids talking much and prefers to phase out of existence if possible Tāne Tūhoro (nineth crewmate) is their healer, hes Really good at herbology and has a high moral code, hes really kind and possibly too kind. He and Enrico work together when someone is ill, he tells them what they need to feel better, and Enrico makes it taste good. He knows a few tribal languages but he thinks their useless to know outside of the islands, but Nell is helpinng him with his confidence he doesnt know where his parents are, or if they exist. Which, turns out hes a child between a demon and a fae, both had left him with humans because neither Wanted him key details is that he doesnt have a shadow, animals are afraid of him, and he is Extremely good with herbs, in a way that he knows things about herbs outside of the current times, the ocean actively tries to get him Out of the water, hes afraid of religious objects and iron/holy water burns him Jasper (tenth crewmate) is a half Djinn half demon, the same demon as Tāne, though he had been owned by Raimundo (contract as a djinn) for over a decade, it was filled with toxic but genuine care, so it was difficult for both of them to move on from. Hai now owns Jasper, Hai can make one wish per year, if he says ‘I wish’ no matter what the intention was, its taken. And you cant undo it until the year ends, Alejandro was initally a trade partner but Nell had fallen in love with him. While at sea she stopped being herself and Hai viewed it as a liability for her to not confess and so they turned around so that way she can get an answer. And he said yes. And then joined Hai found Veikko at a bar, Hai was just looking around for someone to join him temporarily since he just wanted to get some quick money, get a name for himself outside of Lǐ, and hopefully live his life trading, but he saw Veikko wake up from being blacked out drunk he freaked out and won a fight against 4 other guys while he was drunk and so he figured ‘if he can do that drunk what can he do sober?’ Veikko ended up actually really liking and bonding very well with Hai, and then Nell showed up. She heard their names and was like ‘that sounds like fun’ and plus she knew Hai was Really intelligent. And Veikko was Terrifying, so might as well try and join a high danger crew, she was untouchable after all. Jasper and Raimundo had been Deeply attached, yet distant. They had been together for a decade and at some point it got really bad, so they let go of each other, and now Jasper enjoys Hais company and slowly hes started to realize just how, well, touch starved, emptionally starved, and how little he was able to be a Person Tanona is a sort of second in command to lǐ, she works to get his ideas in place, she also moves and transports slaves around Alejandro hesitated to accept nells confession because he didnt know how to say bye to his home town for the seas He adjusts well, he ends up doing pretty good manual labor, so he does that Reginald usually turns a blind eye but acts like hes against it, but he loves his daughter, and she does often update him, tells him about the crew, talks about their adventures, he typically just quietly listens but after Tāne and Jaspers… speices- hes been more active verbally, but still turns a blind eye. He also does Not like Hai. Hai is… way to smart. For anyone. And hes frankly terrified Hai is chinese, described as having soft skin but a strong grip, a calm expression 24/7 and occasionally when lashing out aggressively controlling and almost feral if unsupervised, though this is extremely rare, he also has hair thats about 3 ft long and its often braided and forgotten to be brushed, he also has tanned skin and bright eyes aswell Veikko is nordic, from russia though described as ‘pretty’ by hai (while lashing out), hes commonly described as pale due to his nordic birthplace and often staying below deck, his weak arm is often craddled or dangling, despite him being able to use it still, he also has a gash in said arm thats scarred over, he has very light pale eyes aswell. He has one of the most scarred skins though Vynor is from tsar russia, was unnaturally pale, but has tanned since he joined, hes desribed as weak looking but intimidating, especially from his height, hes described as very tall, Nell is from england is described to have uneven tanning, though it’s minimal unless she takes her clothes off, Alejandro as mentioned that she looks very pale underneath her clothes but didnt mention much else about her appearance shes described to have long hair though shorter than hais, she has heterochromia and sometimes mentioned to look like a stereotypical british woman Jin-ho and joo-won are described to look identical aside from joo-won having bigger eyes, softer features, less scarred, and not as skinny, both are appear to be of josen descent, joo-won is also a few cms taller Alejandro is described to have a new Spanish, (colonial mexico), very tanned skinned, a bit darker than most on the ship due to his entire life being out in the sun, and black looking eyes, his hair is messy and he has scars but most seem to be more from overworking, hes also said to have a slightly tired expression Tāne is from new zealand (yes this island wasnt technically discovered yet but thats the point.) described to look almost tribal appearance, but more modest, he occasionally has odd patterns on his clothes from herbal dyes that get on him, so his fingers are slightly discolored, he does have some markings and tatoos on his skin but he covers them, hence the modesty, Jaspers real name is Zahiran but he forgot what it was somewhere in the last 100 years, he is described as cold and indifferent, with occasional child like behaviors without the personality and misunderstanding, his appearance isn’t typically described but he is from the middle east, specifically from Guarded Domains of Iran, though this was over 200 years ago and, hes been through alot of owners, so he doesnt fully remember. But he knows it was in the middle east Lǐ is described as chinese, very tall, and often changing his hairstyle, hes desribed as often having wraps around his face and head, hands and body in general to hide his appearance, he has very bright striking eyes Enrico is described to have a Italian venice appearance, and a very charming smile Dorian is described as looking like a child despite his age, hes pale and scarred, most of his features are softer due to his smaller height, hes highly insecure about his appearance especially since hes, older than most. Hes an ex Swiss mercenary. Raimundo is from spain, hes apart of the spanish colonial army, Tanona is described to look like hai, she looks almost like his daughter but they are very much not, but hai is unaware that she is his sister parents and important backstory info that ive either forgot to write or forgot I wrote Hais mother was killed by lǐ, she attempted to rebel against him and take hai and Tanona but only managed to help hai get away, hai then ran until he was found in the rural side of china, and raised by some fisherman, he left as an adult, learning about his biological father, he continued hiding and sailing. Eventually leading to veikko and the rest of the crew. He never met tanona, tanona knows hai is lǐs child but not that she is lǐs biological child. Veikko grew up and was raised in russia, his father disappeared before he was born, and his mother died when he was 16, so he ran away to sweden, which is where his parents were originally from and I remember already explaining what happened. Nell grew up loving the water, her mother and father eventually decided to let her train properly, getting a sort of teacher, to which she learnt, and learnt, and kept training even pass that. Which is why she seems almost unnaturally fast in the water. And why shes so ok with just dive bombing in. Her mother and father ended up getting divorced and her mother moved away, but both still love her. In their own ways Enrico was born in a close knit pirate crew  But his family was killed when he was 7 and him being a child, was spared but got left at the next shore they got to (which was in italy) and ended up being adopted, he missed that life, but was still afraid of what might happen if he gets to close, which is why hes so quiet and doesnt get to personal or interact with many, typically keeping to himself and hiding out in the kitchen, incase something happens. He wont be found. Alejandro and Raimundo, are related, raimundo when he was younger had an affair (bordering rape) with a native in new spain, and left before Alejandro was born All this happened over 5 years, year 1 veikko nell and vynor joined, sayoka happened in year 2, they get joo-won in year 2, year 3 they get jin-ho, Alejandro, enrico,  year 4 they get tāne, year 5 they were adjusting and figuring out how to manage everything, including finding out tānes supernatural orgins, then at the end of year 5 they get jasper, and the next year early on veikko and hai got kidnapped but hai used a wish, Ages (currently): Joo-won/jin-ho: 20 Alejandro: 27 Raimundo: 51 Veikko: 38 Hai: 30 Nell: 27 Vynor: 34 Tāne: 50+ Jasper: 200+ Enrico: 39 Sayoka(before death): 32 (when died): 29 Lǐ: 52 Tanona: 28 Reginald: 64
