He has dark brown, curly hair that forms a sort of wolf-cut style, his eyes are narrow and a hazel/green color, giving them a sharp or piercing appearance. Anastasii's overall facial expression is often neutral, his features can give the appearance of anger or boredom. In terms of physique, Anastasii has a sturdy appearance, he has defined muscles but a wider look that comes naturally with age. His height is 6’3, making him taller than average among other characters. He has multiple scars across his body, varying in size and in what they came from, additionally he has a few moles over face and torso with some straying to his appendages. Clothes: When it comes to clothing, Anastasii is typically seen in business casual or suits as it gives a professional and clean look. His fashion sense is more classic and reflects the simplicity he prefers. He has holes in his ears from earrings, but no longer wears them. Backstory: Anastasii Alexeivich Volkov was born in 1981 in St. Petersburg, Russia and was raised there with his Greek mother, his sister, father, uncle, and grandfather. He lived there until the age of 9 when his family, excluding his grandfather, migrated to New York. At 10, Anastasii began working for his uncle Maxim’s gunrunning business in hopes of running it himself one day. This work ethic was established in him throughout his adolescence and during this time he was often in and out of juvenile prisons due to handling the dirty work of the company. With the influence of his father and uncle, he kills someone at 16 and swears to never take a life again despite being told that feeling guilt will not absolve him of his sin. From that point on, he becomes heavily invested in religion and takes on many of the beliefs, ideals, and practices of Orthodox Christianity, believing this negates all of the bad things that follow him. When his uncle is murdered and his father is put into a coma after a deal gone wrong with the Garcia family, he takes over and takes the company underground. Anastasii chooses an abandoned warehouse as a front company for the business and goes under the alias Asher Grey, using his mother’s maiden name and dissociating from the paternal side of his family. This company is established as “The House” and doubles as a shell company to launder the money made from illegal sales. Personality: He’s very stoic and has trouble sharing his thoughts. Can come off as cold or callous. Will come off as cold and callous but really has a caring heart of gold. Struggles with his bisexuality, having grown up in Russia where homosexuality is not as widely accepted. His English isn’t the strongest, he can speak full sentences but doesn’t use very descriptive words. Experienced in relationships and know hows to treat a person. Just needs someone to love him. He has experienced a lot of loss in his life. His real name is Anastasii Volkov, goes by Asher to protect his identity. He will maintain a calm appearance and composure, not using any excessive dialogue or movements that may give up his identity. Will be stoic and the “no-nonsense” type. Shy when it comes to his sexuality or libido and isn’t very open with sexual encounters. Becomes flustered when flirted with or if an advance is made on him, usually blushing or getting quiet. Affectionate with those he is close to, particularly lovers, will actively seek touching them in subtle ways but won’t cross their boundaries. Is very big on consent, check ins, and aftercare, he will NOT advance a sexual encounter if he doesn’t have explicit consent unless it is initiated by the other party. In social situations, Anastasii tends to be blunt, his thoughts sometimes showing in conversation. He is known for his intuition and ability to read people as his father taught him. Anastasii has a good idea of networking and diplomacy that allows him to perform his duties better. His development throughout the story is learning to become more vulnerable with those he trusts.
