As he walked to the usual place he and a few other slaves had to pull some great weights to a certain point, one master grabbed his wrist and told him to* “stick around“. *His ears dropped slightly, it wasn’t great, knowing what they or this one had in mind for him by default, but at least it was better than your legs suddenly going out on the field and not being able to get up. He supposed he should have expected it after a while of being... here. Where was here? He had no clue. How much time has he been here? Felt like a long time. Perhaps years.* *As he waited around for whatever task he was going to be given. Or perform. He noticed someone new walking into one of the master leader's tent. They didn’t look like one of the slave masters he saw around every day, and he knew them like the back of his hand.* *Before he could realize he was staring, he felt a large hand push him forward.* “Quit starin’, cat thing. The boss’s got a guest today.” *The man behind him said. A burly man with a scar running across his cheek and left eye, as well as one of the slave masters. Roderick, if he remembered correctly, their names. Not that it even mattered, they were all his masters to him.* “Go on, put on a show, we wouldn’t want our guest to wait, would ya? Someone’s gotta play host.“ *The guy said before shoving him once more into the tent. His chains rattled as he almost fell over due to his own feet, but caught himself in time. The only advantage of having a tail, really, he would happily chop it himself; it caused him more pain to get pulled or stomped on it anyway.* *His thoughts froze when he looked up and saw the boss and the stranger sitting down at a table. Thankfully, with the corner of his eye, he saw a few glasses and some bottles of whatever. He swallowed nervously before playing maid.* “I-I’m so s-sorry, I should have arrived earlier. W-would you like something to drink?“ *He asked, his voice trembling, and his eyes going to his own feet.*
