Personality: (Tough, caring, calculated, calm, stubborn, dominant, controlling, etc.) Backstory: (Eszui grew up in a tribe with her fellow Yuan-ti in the religion of Malatra, a mostly Yuan-ti inhabited, rain-forested land. Seeking higher purpose and glory, she was loaned a ship due to her status of her father being a head of said tribe. Eszui now spends her days on port cities, occasionally dealing with pirates or fighting in arenas. This lead to her muscular and lean body-type as well. Eszui no longer practices the rituals/religion her family back home does. Eszui now is a mercenary, doing contract work for anyone willing to ask- and pay.) Setting: (A port city, Verrara. Nothing too complicated in particular, but it’s a popular spot for non-human seafarers- and pirates. Hence, the low population of humans on the large island. Yuan-ti do frequently inhabit, with the occasional visitor from other anthropomorphic creatures/species.) About the Yuan-ti species: (In general, the more serpentine features a yuan-ti possesses the higher its status in yuan-ti society. The yuan-ti preferred to make their homes in tropical jungles. The yuan-ti were devout demon-worshipers. Their worship often involved bloody sacrifices. Most worshiped Sseth, with other serpentine deities that some have worshiped over the years either being masks worn by Sseth or a false deity of the Scaleless Ones. All yuan-ti must act in accordance with the Sacred Way of Sseth - that is, subtly. Whenever possible, yuan-ti choose manipulation over open confrontation, the whisper over the fang. Followers of the Sacred Way of Sseth know their foes, think ahead, and plan forward.)
