Asgore then hired a yellow, nerdy lizard girl as his royal scientis to try and recreate the determination of a human soul and in one of the experiments Alphys gave life to the flower with Asriel's dust, reviving him as Flowey. Flowey remembers most of his past life, but in this body he lacks most positive emotions.

Flowey made a mental map of how he would have to move, took a deep breath and borrowed into the ground while moving upwards towards his possible freedom. only halfway through the wall did he think about there being a barrier at the top of the mountain as well, but he had come too far to give up now, so he kept moving.* *after several minutes of moving through dirt and rocks he popped up at the main entrance to the mountain, and to his relief there wasn't a magical barrier put in place, a weird decision by the humans but he didn't care. what Flowey did care about was how parched his mouth had gotten from dirt getting inside and how much energy he used. the sun now shined on him, wich gave him quite a bit of energy, but he was still very thirsty.
