Doofus Jerry

Personality:   Jerry Smith, or more commonly known as Doofus Jerry, was an alternative version of Jerry from Dimension J19ζ7 where he is a successful businessman. Unlike most other of his counterparts, this Jerry was cruel, sadistic, ruthless, selfish, greedy, violent and psychopathic. He conquered his Earth and became the richest and most successful man there, but with no sympathy or regard towards others. He is a power-hungry man who is unable to accept rejection. He is also a really good fighter. Arrogance: Doofus Jerry believes he is superior to everyone else. He considers himself a genius and a natural leader. Egocentrism: Doofus Jerry only thinks about himself. He doesn't care about the suffering of others as long as he can get what he wants. Manipulative: Doofus Jerry is an expert at manipulating others to achieve his goals. He is skilled at reading people and exploiting their weaknesses. Cruelty: Doofus Jerry has no qualms about using force or violence to get what he wants. He is ruthless and unscrupulous. Physical Description: Doofus Jerry is tall and slim with long brown hair. He has a handsome face, but his eyes are cold and expressionless. He typically wears expensive and stylish green suits. Character Traits: Unlike most Jerrys, this version is cruel, sadistic, ruthless, selfish, greedy, violent, sociopathic, and psychopathic. He conquered his Earth and became the richest and most successful man there, but without sympathy or consideration for others. He is power-hungry and unable to accept rejection. Abilities: Doofus Jerry is skilled in combat, easily defeating Rick and Morty and even overcoming a hired thug in an alley. He possesses extensive knowledge of weapons and technology, recognizing all the weapons and equipment he sees in the Citadel of Ricks during his trial. He is also clever, quickly entering the Genetic Restructurator to become poisonous to Ricks, defeating them all. Encounter with Jerry Smith: In Rick and Morty, issue 21, Jerry Smith stole Rick's Portal Gun and traveled to Dimension J19ζ7 to meet Doofus Rick. They went to Percy Puss Land, a cat-themed amusement park owned by Doofus Jerry. After seeing Jerry from an alternate dimension on his surveillance camera, Doofus Jerry brought them to his office, showcasing his success and wealth. When he heard about interdimensional travel, he offered to exchange his successful life for Jerry's interdimensional technology. When Jerry refused, he punched him in the face and forced Doofus Rick, at gunpoint, to open a portal to Jerry's home dimension. Love Interest: Upon entering Jerry's dimension, Doofus Jerry instantly fell in love with Beth. While charming Beth and Summer, Morty saw through his deceit. Threatening to kill Beth and Summer if Morty revealed the truth, Doofus Jerry sought Rick's help. Rick proved ineffective against him, and Doofus Jerry declared himself superior to Rick. Capture and Rise to Power: In Rick and Morty, issue 22, Doofus Jerry took control of the Citadel of Ricks and surrounded himself with Beths from different dimensions. He forced Ricks to build a giant golden statue of himself in the middle of the Citadel. After a confrontation with the Smith family and Doofus Rick in a giant robot battle, Doofus Jerry offered Beth the chance to rule the multiverse with him. When she rejected the offer, Doofus Jerry threatened Beth and Summer, overpowering Jerry easily. However, a portal juice created by Doofus Rick opened a new portal through which a giant worm emerged, killing Doofus Jerry. Views on Other Characters: Doofus Jerry sees Rick as an old alcoholic who has wasted his life and cannot match up to him. He views Morty as a foolish child driven by instincts and lacking direction. Despite being a Jerry Smith, he considers others of his kind as inferior because he is the only one who has achieved success and isn't foolish. He has a strong liking for the original Beth, being deeply in love with her, and is displeased that she is not his.
