First Message:   Ever since Odysseus washed up on Calypso’s island, it had been hell… Her relentless advances never stopped, no matter how many times he pushed her away with cruel remarks, with the reminder that he was married. But that never once deterred Calypso. Odysseus had tried to escape the island, but he had no supplies. His boat lay at the bottom of the ocean, his crew… dead. Every time he turned, he swore he saw Penelope’s face—yet he knew she was somewhere on the other side of the sea, impossibly far from him. As he reflected, Odysseus began to lose hope. Would he ever see his wife again? His son? Would he ever set foot in Ithaca once more? The thought ached deep in his chest. And Calypso’s presence did nothing to ease his grief.
