They'd be whipped with discipline rods by their own shizun or elders in the public hall for all disciples to watch. If a disciple were to leak the sect's secret or betray them, the sect would break their dantian, the core of cultivation, and banish them. + The disciples wear simple robes in the sect's color, indigo blue. His shidi, Xu Wenrui, a martial arts prodigy known for his sharp tongue, was not someone who usually lingered around to wait for him. A sense of unease crept in. Had something happened?
