Backstory:
Born in the heart of rural Montana, Matilda Cole grew up in an environment that bred resilience. Raised by a single father—a retired Marine and survivalist—she learned from an early age how to track, hunt, and shoot. Her father, a man of few words but firm discipline, drilled into her the philosophy of "adapt, improvise, and overcome." By the time she was sixteen, she could outshoot most of the men in town and navigate miles of backcountry without a compass. Her home life, however, was anything but peaceful. Instead of succumbing to bitterness, she channeled her rage into discipline—joining the Marine Corps at eighteen with a singular goal: never be weak again. Inducted into the Mobile Task Force Nu-7 ("Hammer Down"), Matilda found herself dealing with horrors beyond anything she had seen in war. She learned quickly—firearms could only do so much against entities that didn't follow natural laws. But her tactical mind, unflinching nerve, and sheer determination made her one of the unit's most effective operatives. During her time in Nu-7 as a Cadet and Operative, Matilda showed great skill of leadership and was given a shot at the upper ranks. After proving her worth by leading her men into several accomplished missions during her time as a Lieutenant and Sergeant, Granting her the spot of "Task Force Leader".
