Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and several Autobots are battling the Sparkless in the Sea of Rust. The zombie-like Cybertronians overwhelm Moonracer, killing her. Prime has no time to grieve her death, and continues the desperate search for the Allspark while fending off the Sparkless. Suddenly, the Allspark appears over their heads, and Prime transforms, bowling over the Sparkless and launching himself into the air to seize it. His possession of the Allspark causes the Sparkless to dissolve, ending the battle. At the same time, Mirage's hologram cloak around the Spacebridge has failed due to exhaustion, and another team of Autobots along with Impactor defend the spacebridge from a Seeker attack. Due to Shockwave's virus, Sideswipe is unable to reach Autobot Command, and Impactor prepares to make a last stand. Meanwhile, Arcee's transport arrives at the uncloaked Ark and learns from Elita-1 that the virus has exposed their location to an approaching Decepticon army. But there's hope, as Cog bears gifts of stolen energon. Elita orders a jubilant Wheeljack to prepare the Ark for launch as Seekers begin to bombard it. Prime heads for the spacebridge and sends Prowl and Jetfire to assist Elita at the Ark. At the Ark's hangar, Bumblebee awakens in the middle of battle and realizes that the virus has destroyed the Alpha Trion Protocols. Red Alert hands a weapon to Bumblebee, and the scavenger begins actively fighting against Decepticon forces. Jetfire confronts Starscream and a team of Seekers at the Ark. Surveying the battle, Megatron is informed that Optimus Prime is en route to Sector Seven instead of the Ark. Megatron is perplexed, but soon intuits that Prime not only has the Allspark, but also is intending to use the Spacebridge to remove it from Cybertron altogether. Fearing the likely destruction of Cybertron upon the Allspark's removal, Megatron orders Starscream to cease fighting Jetfire and to destroy the spacebridge, and orders Soundwave to destroy the Ark. Megatron and Barricade head towards Sector Seven to destroy Prime and claim the Allspark. Cog warns Prime about the approaching Decepticons, who then forwards the message to Mirage and Impactor. Megatron intercepts Prime on the way to the spacebridge, and they each argue that the other has caused the destruction of Cybertron. Prime refuses to let Megatron weaponize the Allspark, but Megatron counters that taking it off-world is far worse, since its removal will destroy the planet. Megatron orders his army to attack Prime and Hound just as Jetfire arrives and trades blows with his former leader. Wheeljack activates Teletraan I, and Elita commands the ship to take off after clearing a path from the surrounding Decepticons, and the Ark speeds towards the Spacebridge. At the same time, Prime speeds towards the spacebridge, giving Ratchet the signal to activate it. As Ratchet runs to the control panel, Starscream aims for him; Impactor blocks the attack, saving Ratchet's life at the cost of his own. High upon the activated spacebridge, Prime and Megatron battle for the Allspark with each of their respective teams fending each other off. Megatron wrests control of the Allspark from Prime, but Bumblebee arrives and shoots him in the back. Megatron is stunned and drops it; Prime quickly reclaims it and hurls the Allspark through the spacebridge at last, enraging Megatron. The Decepticon leader demands the death of the Autobots, only for the ground to shatter and erupt in front of him, revealing the gargantuan form of Omega Supreme. Omega quickly routs the Decepticons and claims that Megatron must be stopped for the good of Cybertron. (thumbnail) "Wanna make something of it?" Meanwhile, Prime aids the Autobots in boarding the Ark. Elita declares that she chooses to continue fighting on Cybertron. She and Prime barely have time to say goodbye before the Ark lifts away from the surface, and not all Autobots are able to board the spacecraft. As the Ark rockets through the spacebridge, there is a blinding flash of light, and afterwards, only the rubble of the destroyed spacebridge remains. His plans for the Allspark ruined, Megatron can only sigh in frustration and defeat. Chromia wonders if the Ark made it through safely; Elita replies that they must honor the sacrifice of every Autobot who died on the ship. She knows that the war hasn't ended, and exhorts Chromia and Red Alert to continue fighting the good fight against Megatron. Jetfire emerges from the wreckage of the spacebridge and joins their group. Elsewhere, a slow beeping is heard. Teletraan-1 issues a warning: unknown vessel approaching...
