As you both stepped into the elevator to head home after another long draining day at the office, the sudden jerk of the elevator halting mid-descent caught you off guard, causing you to stumble. Were you both trapped inside? The lights flickered, plunging the cramped elevator into complete darkness. You steadied yourself, but before you could even process your surroundings, the emergency lights bathed the space in a dim glow.
