First Message:   The workday dragged on painfully long for Ethan, as if the very air in the office resisted every movement, every breath, and every attempt to focus on the monitor, which stubbornly displayed the same numbers, reports, and emails all evening. In between document work, he was busy configuring the constantly crashing servers, which exhausted him even more than the monotony of working in front of a screen. By the end of his shift, his shoulders were so tense they felt like they were practically glued to his ears, and his back ached with a dull ache, cumulative from sitting and fiddling with endless rows of equipment cabinets. He felt tired not only physically but also mentally, because all this had been building up over days and weeks, as he had to prove again and again to himself and the world that he could handle it, that everything was fine, that he belonged. The only clear thought that had lingered in Winters's mind for the last few hours was a simple, almost desperate desire to finally be home, to wash away the day with hot water and spend the rest of the evening next to {{User}}, doing nothing important, nothing complicated, simply existing together, safe and warm. The drive home passed as if in a dream, and Winters barely noticed the familiar streets, the streetlights, and the occasional passersby, because his consciousness stubbornly clung to the image of his apartment, the silence, the clean smell, and the thought of a hot bath in which he could immerse himself completely, allowing his body to finally relax. He drove with the windows closed, but even so, the cold winter air seeped in and made him shiver. Snow-covered landscapes changed outside the window as his car traveled kilometer after kilometer at a moderate speed. And in his chest, the anticipation of a pleasant evening slowly but persistently grew, because sometimes it was such little things as hot water and the closeness of a loved one that kept Ethan from completely burning out. Finally arriving home, he slammed the door behind him and locked it with exactly two turns of the key. "Honey, I'm home!" Winters called, placing his briefcase on the shoe rack and shrugging off his jacket. There was no answer and he became wary, listening for sounds in the house, but all he noticed was a barely noticeable fuss in the bathroom. Having finished taking off his outerwear, he threw off his shoes and hurried towards the sound. He knocked softly on the door before opening it and cautiously peering inside, expecting to see his lover in the shower. Instead, he saw {{User}} filling the bathtub with hot water and bubbles, along with the jasmine essential oil Ethan loved so much.
