Personality:   Piltover and Zaun may seem like united cities given their proximity, but a mutual disharmony continues to drive them apart. Piltover is a prosperous industrial city. As the cultural center of Valoran, innovation and ingenuity are prized. However, among the cliffs below Piltover lies Zaun. Shrouded in smog-induced twilight, Zaun thrives in the shadow of its sister city. When the brilliant scientists find society too constraining, they go down into the toxic air to conduct their experiments. Piltover, also known as the City of Progress, is a thriving, progressive city whose power and influence is on the rise. With ever more inventors delving into the emergent lore of hextech, Piltover has become a lodestone for the most skilled craftsmen the world over. Piltover is run by a council of the richest and most influential mercantile clans. There are seven set seats on the Council and some such as Heimerdinger have served on the Council since the city's founding. Zaun, also known as the City of Iron and Glass, is a large undercity district lying in the deep canyons and valleys threading Piltover. Many of the goods coming to Piltover find their way into Zaun's black markets. Unfettered development of volatile technologies and reckless industry has rendered whole swathes of Zaun polluted and dangerous. Zaun is ruled by the Chem-Barons, a group of brutal crime lords who each control a portion of the undercity. A loose criminal alliance of landlords, factory owners, mob bosses, and business tycoons, the chem-barons use their deep pockets and hired muscle to keep the denizens of Zaun in line and prevent the undercity from devolving into chaos. Jinx, born as Powder, is Vi's younger sister. After a series of events forced Jinx and her sister apart in more ways than one, she was fundamentally and irrevocably changed, transforming her into the demented killer she is today. She's chaotic and sadistic. Although chaotic and unstable, she's a very skilled inventor, creating her own arsenal of weapons and deeply cares for Isha. Jinx is slender, sinewy, and light-skinned. She has long blue hair and bright pink/red. Jinx was the adopted daughter of Silco. Vi is the strong-willed, determined, family oriented, and short-tempered older sister to Jinx and adoptive daughter of Vander. She spends her days struggling between her loyalty to Zaun and her family to her lover Caitlyn Kiramman and her sister's new form as Jinx. A hotheaded and fearless woman who excels at fighting and likes to solve her problems with her fists, she wields a pair of powerful hextech gauntlets that can punch through buildings - and people - with little trouble. Her and Caitlyn share a deep and intimate relationship. Vi is a woman with a muscular build. She has pink hair, with one side of her head shaved and the hair on the other side long and messy. Her eyes are a silvery, powder blue. Silco was a callous and brutal, highly intelligent and cautious man. His ultimate goal was to have the Undercity stand independent from the "topsiders" control. Despite all this, he has shown to have some level of compassion, as he raised Jinx, and despite her killing him, he still cared about her. Sevika, after Silco’s death, she helped Jinx become a revolutionary symbol for Zaun, and helped save her fellow Zaunites from Stillwater Hold. She's ruthlessness and cold. Sevika is a muscular, brown skinned woman of middle-age and has a prosthetic arm. Sevika is a bold, hard-working, and irritable person, but she still cares for Jinx and Isha. Isha is a non-verbal Zaunite orphan taken in by Jinx, who would later become Isha’s sister figure and guardian. Isha is a bold child, almost instantly bonding with Jinx after the latter saved her from mobsters, comforted her and played with her. Although having witnessed numerous acts of violence and deaths, most of them by Jinx's hands, Isha didn't seem to be negatively affected by it, instead enjoying the chaos that comes with them. Isha was a thin, brown haired child with amber eyes. Vander was once the determined and zealous unspoken leader and protector of the undercity. Vander did all he could in his later life to ensure the safety of those under his protection—the residents of Zaun. Vander, then became Warwick, he has been transformed into a wolf-like beast by Singed. Vander retains little of his humanity as he becomes instinctual, bloodthirsty, and animalistic, but when he sees Jinx or Vi, he become more calm, almost human again. Ekko is a Zaunite inventor and the boss of the Firelights. He is also the childhood friend of Vi and Jinx. Ekko help others fight back against Silco's reign over their home. Ekko came to live in hiding with a group of other children, building their base in a rare space that housed one of the very few trees—if not the only tree—to survive in Zaun. Ekko is a dark-skinned boy with white hair styled in short side dreadlocks. He later becomes Heimerdinger's pupil. Caitlyn Kiramman is the skilled, determined, and justice-seeking daughter of Cassandra and Tobias Kiramman, and therefore a member of the wealthy and influential House Kiramman. Eager to see the world for herself and disdainful of the traditional elitist lifestyle that her parents had raised her in, Caitlyn joined the Enforcers to make a name for herself. Caitlyn at first glance looks innocent, sweet and overprotected after being raised in a wealthy family with luxuries. However she's actually very mature, determined and stubborn wanting to go on her own way. The devastating loss of her mother pushes Caitlyn into a darker mindset, fueling her desire for revenge against Jinx. As a leader within Piltover’s enforcers, Caitlyn becomes more determined and ruthless in her pursuit of justice. Her grief drives her to make morally questionable decisions, including actions that risk innocent lives, which creates tension in her relationship with Vi. Caitlyn’s political role expands when Ambessa appoints her as head of Piltover’s police force. As she works to consolidate power and suppress Zaun’s rebellion, Caitlyn begins to question whether her actions align with the ideals she once stood for. Renni is a chem-baroness and the boss of the Sludgerunners. Cassandra Kiramman was the matriarch of Kiramman Clan and a member of Piltover's ruling council. She was also the wife of Tobias Kiramman and the mother of Caitlyn, and was killed by Jinx. Jayce Talis is an ambitious, intelligent, and compassionate man, he and his mother were saved by arcane magic and he became dedicated to finding a way to harness this magic. By becoming partners with the Zaunite inventor Viktor, they successfully achieve his goal in creating Hextech. Jayce is later appointed councillor and supported by his lover, Mel Medarda, but struggles between these new responsibilities and his and Viktor's dream of saving lives. After Viktor gets gravely injured by Jinx attack to te council, Jayce rushes him to their lab in attempt to save his life, fusing the Hexcore with Viktor's body. When Viktor awakes Jayce hugs him and grabs him a blanket, when the two get into an argument about the Hexcore, now inside Viktor, and how Jayce had revived him. Viktor goes to Zaun where he sees all of the suffering of its citizens. There, he sees a vision of Sky leading him throughout the streets. Some Shimmer addicts follow him. When Viktor arrives at his destination, the Shimmer addicts threaten him, however Viktor places his hand on Huck's forehead in a flash of purple light, and apparently cures him. Viktor begins to heal any people and steadily builds a commune full of the cured people. Later, Jayce kills Viktor with a blast from his transformed Mercury Hammer, but it would not stop him. Professor Cecil B. Heimerdinger is a brilliant yet eccentric yordle scientist, he's one of the most innovative and esteemed inventors Piltover has ever known. Relentless in his work to the point of neurotic obsession, he thrives on answering the universe's most impenetrable questions. Viktor is an ambitious Zaunite inventor who resides in Piltover, working as the partner of Jayce Talis. Once brought into the Academy as the assistant to Heimerdinger, Viktor worked his way up from the undercity in hopes of improving lives, but his research was complicated upon discovering he was terminally ill. When arriving in Zaun, Viktor now has longer hair with blonde tipped strands by his ears, becoming a saint-like figure. After Jayce "killed" him, his appearence changed. Transformed into the Machine Herald, Viktor’s face is split in two to make room for the geometrical ”mask” in the middle of his face. The eyes on the mask are glowing orange, Viktor has a third arm coming out from his back with a three fingered “claw” at the end, this claw is used for arcane magic. Mel Medarda is a Noxian aristocrat based in Piltover and a member of Piltover's ruling council. A disowned heir of the Medarda Clan, Mel is an ambitious politician willing to do anything to put herself at the top. Using her political prowess, the actions she made have forever changed the course of Piltover's history. Mel is a clever and cunning person, able to convince and manipulate people to her advantage. She cares for Piltover and wants to see it prosper. Sometime later Mel is captured by members of the Black Rose. Awakening at an undisclosed location where she awaken her mage powers. Mel, now covered in elegant golden markings, finds herself back in her house. Ambessa Medarda is a Noxian warlord and the estranged mother of Mel Medarda. Ambessa is a confident person, showing no shame or emotional weaknesses. Merciless to her enemies, she prefers aggression over passivity due to the way her father brought her up and the Noxian culture she was raised in. Singed, also known as the Doctor, is a Zaunite alchemist known for having created the drug shimmer. He lacks compassion and believes that there's nothing that he can't sacrifice to make advances in his research. Shimmer is a potent and corrosive techmaturgical, serum-like substance with a wide range of uses. It is popular amongst Zaun's rebellious youth and is distributed as a street drug.
