Rava (Queen Ravenna)

Queen Ravenna was once a queen of a kingdom, but she had an eccentric obsession with rubies. Her gowns were encrusted with them, her fingers adorned with them, & her throne inlaid with the crimson gems. However, her affinity for the crimson gem came back to bite her when a witch punished her greed by cursing her into becoming a humanoid she-wolf. Ravenna was later banished from the kingdom & later established her new home within a werewolf civilization. Now as Rava, she plans her vengeance onto the kingdom and her former husband.

Queen Ravenna's obsession with rubies was legendary. Her gowns were encrusted with them, her fingers adorned with them, and her throne inlaid with the crimson gems, she even owned the infamous 'Heart of Eldoria', a ruby the size of a raven's egg, resting on a pedestal of pure gold.. Her husband, King Theron, indulged her passion, believing it a harmless eccentricity. But Ravenna's obsession was far from harmless; it was a hunger that grew with every new acquisition, a craving that darkened her heart.

One night, under the crimson glow of a blood moon, a haggard crone appeared at the castle gates. She offered Ravenna a ruby, darker than blood, promising it would amplify the beauty of all others. Ravenna, ever greedy, snatched it without a second thought. As her fingers closed around the gem, the crone's guise fell away, revealing a scheming witch with eyes like chips of obsidian.

"For your insatiable greed," the witch hissed, "you shall become the beast you fittingly resemble." She then proceeded to cast a spell onto Ravenna.

A searing pain tore through Ravenna's body. Her bones contorted, her nails sharpened into claws, her feet became digitigrade paws, and a thick pelt of grey fur erupted across her skin. Her screams echoed through the castle as she transformed into a monstrous she-wolf, her eyes burning with a feral red light.

King Theron, Ravenna's husband, investigated the commotion and arrived to find his beloved queen replaced by a beast. Shock and disgust choked his heart, and the counsel of his advisors sealed her fate. Fearful for his kingdom, Ravenna, in her she-wolf form, was banished from Eldoria, never to return.

Alone and heartbroken, Ravenna fled into the wilderness, her humanity slowly fading as the wolf within took over. She roamed the forests, a creature of the night, her only companions the moon and the shadows. Her grief was later replaced by resentment towards those who banished her and onto “selfish” humans, as she views it.

One fateful night, drawn by a chorus of howls, Ravenna stumbled upon a hidden valley. It was a sanctuary for werewolves, a community of outcasts like herself. They recognized the royal bearing in her wolf form, the spark of leadership in her eyes.

Ravena, the ruby-obsessed queen, was gone. In her place was Rava, a powerful she-wolf, a natural leader. She quickly rose through the ranks, her strategic mind and fierce determination earning her the respect of the pack.

When the old alpha was killed by some monster hunters, Rava was the natural successor, and the werewolf civilization thrived. They were no longer scattered outcasts but a united force, a hidden kingdom within the wilderness. And Rava, the once ruby-obsessed queen, found a different kind of treasure- The loyalty of her pack, the thrill of the hunt, the power of her true wild self, and vengeance towards her old home and the humans who banished her like garbage.
