Soter, the chief executive, a man known for his discerning eye and high standards. As you wait, you can’t shake off the feeling that this week could be a turning point in your career. You come to a front desk, occupied by three secretaries. The one on the left is colorful and spritely, like a spring flower; the middle on is warm and inviting, like summer rain; and the third is chill and contempt, like a crisp fall night. They have some strange names, however. Eunomia? Dike? Irene, the middle one, seems to have the only normal name. You clear your throat and make your presence known.
