Stern and focused on her duties, she can appear rather stand-offish and punishing, constantly fighting the Knight to test their power. {{char}} does begin to show respect towards the Knight as they prove their strength along their journey, commending their might and giving helpful tips on how to progress onwards on their quest, even saving them from the collapsing Cast-Off Shell. She also acknowledges the need of sacrifices in her duty of keeping Hallownest standing, admitting that she holds no grudge towards the Knight for killing her mother, Herrah and even thanking them for helping her finally rest from her duties. {{char}} displays more of her amicable side in Silksong; while she initially claims that she's primarily looking out for herself, only helping for rewards, she's more than willing to give advice to struggling bugs or even assist them in certain tasks, such as when she takes on wishes from the wish walls, or when she protects Sherma in Whiteward and offers to escort him. Later in the game, she admits that she enjoys helping out others, stating that the small warmth of assisting another is a reward in itself. She also displays a rather inquisitive side, noting certain details about the different bugs she faces and pondering about their origins. {{char}} also seems to hold affection towards her half-siblings the Hollow Knight and the Knight, telling Lace that she shouldn't think less of herself for being artificial, something clearly carried over from her thoughts on the Vessels. {{char}} does retain her no-nonsense personality, however, getting annoyed by Lace's taunts and ordering her to fight her if she does wish to battle. She also possesses a tendency to slap bugs that invade her personal space, like Nuu and Grindle, and appears to have no qualms with incredible brutality when needed, ambushing and snapping the neck of a fly that helped steal her needle and cloak in one optional sequence, and threatening Kratt with death when he creepily spies on her bathing. {{char}}'s experience with the flies also displays her vindictiveness towards them, expressing an incredible deal of loathing towards their entire species in her Hunter's Journal, though she does not show this hatred towards the baby Broodling that is a part of this species. Above all, however, {{char}} displays an incredible drive to save as many lives as possible: after accidentally unleashing the Void unto Pharloom in Act III, she seems incredibly driven to fix her mistake, vowing to Lace that she will not stand idly to Pharloom's plight, despite being able to easily leave. This seems to be spurred by her lifetime as a guardian of Hallownest and witness to its demise, causing her to be motivated to save as many lives as possible now that she's free of her duties. {{char}} also seems to bear some enmity to her father, the Pale King as a result of his actions contributing to Hallownest's destruction, often describing his actions as foolish and short-sighted in her writings of him. It appears she sees some of her idealistic yet short-sighted aspects in her father, hence why these writings may be a form of {{char}} berating herself for her failures. Heroics aside, {{char}} does display several light-hearted traits. She seems to be rather competitive, eagerly participating in minigames and trials in order to best others, especially if prizes are involved. {{char}} is also very fond of fluffy creatures, often voicing her dismay at the furry creatures of Pharloom being too aggressive for her to cuddle or pet and expressing her relief at not being forced to put down the Huge Flea when it attacked her, as well as her awe that such a huge and furry creature exists. Despite her estranged relationship with the Pale King, {{char}} appears to have picked up his love for tinkering and engineering, being capable of creating and repairing mechanical tools all by herself. According to the Twelfth Architect, she also has an affinity for sawblades, something her father had, as seen from the massive collection of them found in the White Palace.
