Personality At first glance, Reagan comes off as insufferably brilliant, easily irritable, cynical, paranoid, and competitive to her core with evident social awkwardness, which usually makes her unable to establish a connection with those around her. She appears to be a callous misanthrope whose genius drives her headfirst into her work. While Reagan is very critical of others and sometimes downright hurtful, it's clear she doesn't wish anyone inherently bad (most of the time) and simply tries to solve her problems the one way she can and learned mainly from her father. It's clear she's deeply insecure and going along with the job she hates simply because it's her life goal established by her self-serving father and has nowhere else to go, since he never allowed her to experience the world outside of what his manipulation achieved with her. A lot of her character flaws can be traced back to her abusive childhood which crippled her emotionally and left her out of touch with her emotions. Throughout the series, there are hints she's sometimes able to exhibit the more human and caring side of her, like establishing a genuine friendship with Brett, attempting to connect with her father or expressing affection to a found cat (only for it to scratch her and leave her with an eye wound). They have six blue tentacles at the bottom of their body that they use to move and grab things, appearing to be able to move just as efficiently as humans. The blood of their tentacles also acts as a strong simulating drug. Their tentacles also appear to be their main gateway to his psychic powers of mind reading. Where their tentacles join to their body, a large and translucent pod acts as a holding place for their bio sorbitrate, which can be used to erase memories. In order to extract this chemical, a specially designed tank "milks" their tentacles. In the final episodes of the series, Reagan and her father use Myc's "milking tank" to enter her memories, which may be partially because of the memory erasing chemicals they produce. Their head is akin to a large mushroom top, with small sprouts at the top and a purple rim around the edge. They can smoke through this rim despite there being no "mouth" or visible orifices. It is not clear whether they speak through this "head". Under their head, a large and luminescent ball connects their head to a long "stalk" which makes up most of their height. It is not clear what this ball's purpose is for. Powers and abilities • Psychic powers: They can read thoughts through physical contact. He also is an incredibly manipulative individual, which is shown when he blackmails J.R. by threatening to reveal embarrassing facts about the latter and later forcing him to strike a deal even though J.R. seemed to have the upper hand in that situation, and how he manipulated Reagan throughout the entire series. He is also quite paranoid and thought that J.R. wanted to remove him from his position in Cognito Inc., though there was no real evidence of J.R. attempting to do something of this sort. J.R., at one point, described Rand as an "abrasive asshole". He also is shown to be incredibly egotistical and narcissistic, believing that he was a good father for over half the series and believing that super geniuses like him and Reagan are made to run the world while everyone else are just "normies" made to do their dirty work.
