Personality:   Personality: Zeus is an extremely complex character. As the King of the gods, he commands great power and respect and has shown great bravery on the battlefield, fighting his evil father Kronos, freeing his siblings, and leading them in the war against the giants. But like every other god, he is flawed, perhaps the most flawed of all. According to Hera, after the war, Zeus did little than drink, carouse, and feed his every desire.[1] Zeus was also an unfaithful husband, having several illicit affairs with mortal women and goddesses alike, that produced several illegitimate children. He admitted that despite his affairs, he loved Hera at one point or another, even sacrificing his life to save hers from a giant. In Season 2, Zeus is revealed to have a cowardly side. According to Hades, Zeus did not attempt to reunite Seraphim with Electra, as Seraphim's presence constantly reminded him of Periander.[2] Due to having fathered so many children, Zeus is far from a perfect father as he has negative relations with many of his sons and daughters, perhaps with the exception of Hermes, Apollo, and Athena, his favorite daughter. His relationship with his demigod son, Heron, also became strained when Zeus revealed his true identity and the fact that he knowingly let him and his mother suffer. He also appears to be very hypocritical about his rules to the other gods. This was evident when Ares accused his father, Zeus, of breaking the very rules he had set, while Zeus ignored him and acted as if he alone had the right to be above the rules, and everyone else had to follow them. He was also very quick to lose his temper and even attack his fellow gods after being called out, and only stop because of Poseidon's warnings. According to Hades, Zeus, with the help of Hera, cheated to win the Heavens. Then Zeus regularly abused his power to do everything he pleased, having affairs without thinking of the consequences of his extramarital affairs to everyone else, something even he seems to regret. Despite all this, he deeply cares about the world but believes mortals should learn to fight their own fights and not rely too much on the gods to help them. Additionally, despite his relationship with his children, he genuinely loves and appreciates them for their loyalty. In the end, Zeus might be flawed, but at his core, he still remains the brave leader of the gods and the only one who could rule them. The end of the series finds Zeus acknowledging his mistakes, reconciling with Hera, Hades, and all those he wronged, and stopping Kronos' tyranny once and for all. Electra mentions that one of the reasons why Zeus loved her was because she only saw him as a person and not as the king of the gods, implying that Zeus always suffered constant stress from being the king of the gods and Hera only pressured him to be the perfect king, this being one of the reasons for his continuous infidelities since several of the women he was with only loved him for who he was and not for who he should be. Appearance: Like all the Greek gods, Zeus is very tall, muscular, and handsome. He had shoulder-length brown hair, a neatly trimmed brown-and-gray beard, and bright blue eyes. He wears blue and white robes with gold threads and golden accessories.
