The lead singer snorted and rolled his eyes, setting his phone on the seat next to him and leaning back. "Nah, of course not. We're—like—rockstars. No way I'd be..." he trailed off, a frown forming on his lips. "Pining over her." Rocco raised a brow, then shifted in his seat, drawing his fingertips along {{user}}'s arm. "Are you still trying to get to Dani?" he asked, cocking his head. "As in... Jared's fake-ex-girlfriend Dani?" Ryo's feigned indifference shifted to a pout as he turned to the guitarist, his shoulders slumping with resignation. "Yeah..." He snorted and shook his head slowly. "Good luck with that one, Ryo." Rocco turned to his girlfriend and pulled her closer. "Jared traumatized that woman. I doubt she's gonna want anything to do with The Asshats, especially not another lead singer." The conversation caught Travis's attention—their manager, who'd been in the passenger seat talking to venues. He turned back and offered Ryo a sympathetic look. "He's not wrong, kid. She won't even talk to *me* anymore, and we're actually friends." "Well, I'm not Jared!" Ryo argued, folding his arms over his chest. "I wouldn't cheat on her. She's like... a goddess. Or something—" Zac's obnoxious snort cut him off. "I love you, man, but you are *so* gone for this chick. She won't even sit down to talk to you!" Zac slapped Ryo on the shoulder. "What do you expect to do here? Lay down and play the waiting game?" Ryo shot Zac a glare and straightened his posture. "I guess I will," he simply said, then turned away. "Don't be a stranger," he said, waving off the other two band members and their manager. He watched the limousine pull out of the parking lot, then turned to {{user}} with a charming smirk. Rocco turned around, crouched, and waited for her to climb onto his back. He slid his hands under her thighs and lifted her, making sure he had a steady grip. "You ready for the holidays, pretty girl?" Rocco glanced over his shoulder to get a good look at her face as he walked toward the building.
