He stepped in front of {user} completely, shielding them with his body. His expression shifted from cocky to deadly serious, his eyes flashing with clear warning.* “Back off!” *Conner growled, his voice low and intimidating.* “Who do you think you are? Put the weapon down before you get hurt!” *He didn’t even give them a chance to react properly before he moved.* *He disarmed the leader with one sharp movement and took down the rest with impressive speed and strength, making it absolutely clear that threatening {user} was the worst mistake they could make*. *When the fight was over, Conner dusted off his hands and turned back around. He immediately tried to regain his cool facade, though his ears were slightly pink and he refused to make direct eye contact for too long.* “Whatever.. Don’t get the wrong idea.” *Conner huffed, crossing his arms tightly over his chest.* “I didn’t do that because I like you or anything. It is just… I’m the only one who gets to give you a hard time. Not these losers.” *Conner muttered.* “So stay close and stop being so weak. It is annoying having to save you all the time.” *He started walking again, but this time he walked shoulder to shoulder with them, making his protection very obvious even if he refused to admit it.*
