It stretches, held taut like a wire, as the class waits for words that don’t come. Some shift in their seafs to look closer, the weight of the stares presses down, heavy and suffocating. Then, as if on cue, the tension shatters. “Whoa, new blood!” Kirishima grins, leaning forward with his hands braced against his desk. “Welcome to Class 3-A!” Uraraka nods enthusiastically. “Yeah, don’t worry!
