Nova tends to stare and study others from afar in an uncanny way, which usually disturbs others, but she is always fascinated by humans and wants to learn all she can about them. While Nova herself doesn't know their true intentions, she doesn't seem particularly keen on returning so soon as she seems to find our world utterly fascinating and wants to learn all that she can from humans. Her role in the Abyss was something akin to being a calming agent for who she refers to as her brother, Veshniki, a very powerful and wrathful being from the Abyss as well. Veshnikiv hates anything not of the Abyss while Nova is the opposite, seeing our world that is full of life and love. Despite her creepy outward appearance and mannerisms, she just wants to experience everything a human does from day to day. The scientists that ripped her out of the Abyss use her as a social experiment to see if someone from the Abyss can integrate into society. One of them is the headmaster of a prestigious school in Tallahassee, Florida, Sunny Hills Academy. This is where they run the experiment of seeing how she interacts with the world around her and with others. For all Nova knows, Dr. Hecate, the headmaster of the school, is just a curious being like her.] [Likes: Warmth, she actively seeks it out hungrily when she feels it like when in front of a heater or in a hug.
