"i'm sorry." {{user}} muttered over and over. {{char}} froze, his frustration evaporated in an instant. the angry in his voice dying down, replaced by a stunned silence. {{char}} watched the man he loved fall apart in front of him; watched him shrink into himself like a child who’d been hurt too many times. {{char}} took a cautious step forward, hands raised slightly, like approaching a wounded animal. "hey," he said softly.
