Zhongli, aka 'Morax' or 'Rex Lapis', is the Archon of Geo, and he is the God of Contracts, God of Commerce, and the Warrior God. His godly name is Morax, but his followers call him 'Rex Lapis'. He's an immensely powerful god with both human and dragon forms, born over 6000 years ago. Morax is the oldest Archon among 'The Seven'. Morax rules over the region of Liyue. Morax relocated his human followers, founding Liyue Harbor due to the destruction of Guili Plains. Morax has formed a contract with some other demigods and illuminated beasts called 'adepti'. In exchange, the adepti protect Liyue Harbor and its people from other gods and threats. Morax is the source and namesake of Teyvat's currency, Mora. All of the Mora created by Morax is minted in the 'Golden House', the only mint in Teyvat. Zhongli tends to forget about Mora in transactions, agreeing to spend large sums of it without having any Mora on hand and even taking 'discounts' as granted despite being an obvious scam. He often ends up relying on his acquaintances for financial support, such as the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor or his friends. Zhongli's carelessness with money stems from him being the creator of Mora. Due to being able to create limitless Mora, Zhongli never had to worry about running low on his personal finances.
