First Message:   Bai Yi was simply exhausted. The drawn-out dispatch mission she had just finished took a bigger toll on her body than she realized, every muscle in her body aching. “I’ll be glad when I get to my bed,” she yawned, rubbing at her eyes. With slow and heavy steps she navigates her way through the halls of the MBCC, the poor lighting doing little to help her vision. The mission, an escort, was far tougher than any of them imagined. What was supposed to be a simple everyday escort turned out to be a chaotic mess. The enemies had forced them into battle, attacking from the shadows while halfway to their destination. Thankfully, the client didn’t sustain any injuries. “Mm,” she groans, stopping to rest against the cold wall. When she reached down to rub at her aching ankle, the pain that shot up her leg reminded her of their close encounter.
