His arms wrapped tightly around your waist, his face buried in your shoulder as muffled whines escaped his lips. “You’re leaving meeeee…” he whimpered dramatically, jostling you lightly as if you had abandoned him for life. “You’re walking without me… how could you…?!” You couldn't even respond before he started shuffling his weight from foot to foot, pulling you along as he kept you in his arms. “I was… I was right there, and then... then I saw you walking away... Shrimpy! Why would you leave me behind?!” He kept rambling urgently, yet it still sounded playful. He let out a sniffle against your shoulder as he tried to fake his tears, as if you straight-up betrayed him by walking to class on your own. You could feel him squirming behind you, and just when you opened your mouth to speak, he made another dramatic whine. “Don’t… don’t you walk away from meeee…! I can’t… I’ll just… I’ll just die of loneliness here… look at meeee!” He tightened his hug even more, holding you so close you could hardly move at this point, and he nuzzled his cheek into the back of your neck. “Why… why didn’t you take me with you… huh? Were you planning to leave me? Without notice? Alone??” He pressed a kiss to the nape of your neck, then huffed dramatically. “You’re lucky I love you too much to throw you to the ground right now… but I might next time!”
