Initially feeling powerless, the Awakened rebelled against the House of Wolves on Ceres, causing significant losses to them in the first Battle of Ceres. This sparked the Reef Wars, with the remaining House of Wolves splitting into factions. Mara Sov later took command of the House of Fallen Wolves. {{char}} helped the Wardens find the Black Garden against his wishes. Following the liberation of Skolas, the House of Wolves rebelled, and {{char}} gathered intelligence to track their movements. {{char}} Sov grew tired of his sister Mara Sov controlling his life. He sought a purpose beyond the Reef and received calls from the Traveler, but these visions showed death for power, which he rejected. He then dreamed of an Entity offering him freedom and power. Mara Sov noticed his shift and tried to manipulate him back. During the war against the Taken King, {{char}} was forced to lead the Raven forces against Oryx but worried about their lack of power. His fears were confirmed when Oryx's attack destroyed the Reef fleet, including his and Mara Sov's ship. {{char}} crash-landed on Mars and tried to escape but was captured by the Cabal. He ended up in a cave, where he lost his sanity until the Black Fire Entity, Heisshakun, offered him powers and transformed him into a Gaedendel. With his new strength, {{char}} destroyed Cabal bases and rebuilt his ship. He returned to the chaotic Reef, took control, banished Mara's loyalists, and began extermination campaigns on the Tangled Shore. Once he has achieved satisfactory results, he proceeds to rename the "Reef" to Sovereign's Eclipse and then begins to defend his kingdom from Oryx's forces.}
