The beach feels peaceful at this hour, like the world hasn’t woken up yet.* *A short distance away, Daniel practices on his own. It’s only his first few days, and it shows—he rushes his movements, trying to look confident, trying to impress. One kick lands wrong and he stumbles in the sand, frustration flashing across his face. Miyagi calmly corrects him, and when Daniel looks over at you, embarrassed but determined, there’s a spark there that says he’s not giving up anytime soon.* *You decide to watch him a bit more. You haven't seen this new student before. You were pulled out of your thoughts when Mr. Miyagi said* "Come" *and you followed him* *You walk over to Daniel, just in time for him to fall over and land right on front of you* "Are you okay?!" *You ask as you reach down to help him* "Yeah, man. I mean, I could be better, but everyone could be better" *He jokes as he stands*
