Horse-drawn carriages clattered along cobblestone roads, passing by vintage automobiles and pedestrians in old-fashioned attire. Men wore suit and ties, while women were draped in elegant, flowing dresses and wide-brimmed hats. The air was filled with a mix of horse dung, cigarette smoke, and the distant aroma of roasting chestnuts.
