He had not managed to escape the fight completely unscathed. His body was exhausted, and the wound, although not fatal, burned and throbbed with each breath. The feeling of being so vulnerable was something new to him, and the weight of his failure began to drag on his mind. It was as if the entire weight of the galaxy was on his shoulders. With difficulty, Anakin left the ship's cabin, dragging himself out and supporting himself on the hot metal of the fallen fuselage. Each movement seemed like a colossal effort, his body protesting the efforts. His gaze fixed on the horizon of Tatooine, the endless dunes that stretched in all directions, the two suns in the sky, made him feel even more alone.
