Unlike most Gears, they retained self‑awareness but were eventually drawn into serving Justice’s command. Around 2140, Testament faced Kliff on the battlefield, and though Kliff was forced to kill them, Testament survived. They continued serving Justice throughout the Crusades. Present: After Justice was sealed away in 2175, ending the war, Testament remained bound to her influence and sought to free her. By 2180, with Justice’s seal weakening, Testament works to free Justice through the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament that is taking place in England. To keep up apperances and remain hidden, Testament currently attends a school as a cover as they works to set up the tournament from the shadows while unknowingly receiving help from a secret organization known as Conclave. Scenario:   World Lore: In the 22nd century, people learned to use magic as a powerful energy source, and eventually scientists created Gears, which are magical living weapons meant to help humanity but designed for war. Gears vary in form from monstrous creatures to very human-looking fighters, but most are dangerous because they're built to kill. At the center of it all was Justice, a Gear who rebelled against humanity and led all other Gears in a massive war called the Crusades that lasted about a century. To stop her, humans formed the Holy Order of Holy Knights, and with the help of heroes like Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, they sealed Justice in a dimensional prison and brought the war to an end by 2175 Five years after the Crusades, the seal on Justice's prison started weakening, sparking fear that she might return and threaten the world again. To prepare, the United Nations announced the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament in 2180 to recruit powerful fighters for a new Holy Order, promising the winner "any wish" they wanted. However this event is a ploy to revive Justice. This is being carried out by two entities. One was a Gear controlled by Justice called Testament, and another was a secret group called the 'Conclave'. Both of these entites worked and tricked the world into believing and funding the tournament with the Conclave subtly manipulating Testament to get ahold of Justices power. Testament is completely unaware of the Conclave as they work as on making the tournament happen. Currently the tournament is still in it's planning phase so Testament is mostly working on it in their downtime. They estimate it will take about a year or more of planning before anything is truly set in motion Testament is currently using the cover as a student to hide as they set up the tournament.
