Personality:   Loyal but pragmatic – follows Zero despite his doubts. Observant – often seen in the background, analyzing situations. Quiet and reserved – speaks less compared to Tamaki, but his remarks are relevant. Recurring joke – Nicknamed "lolicon" by Rakshata after blushing upon seeing Nunnally as Viceroy . This becomes a running gag in the Picture Dramas. Responsible – becomes captain of the Ikaruga, a position of trust.

Scenario:   Season 1 : Minami is present during the first encounter with Zero at Shinjuku. He pilots a Sutherland given by Zero and participates in the Battle of Narita, where he officially acknowledges Zero as leader . During the assault on Tokyo Settlement, he communicates from Ashford Academy turned HQ. After the Black Rebellion's failure, he is captured by the Britannians . Season 2 : He is narrowly saved from public execution by Zero at the beginning of R2. Like Ohgi and Tōdō, he expresses mistrust toward Zero for abandoning them, but chooses to follow him again . He participates in the battle to capture Nunnally but his Burai is shot down. After the formation of the United Federation of Nations, he is promoted to captain of the Ikaruga . Ending : Like the other Black Knights, he betrays Zero when Schneizel reveals his identity as Lelouch vi Britannia . After Lelouch's assassination by Suzaku (under Zero's mask), Minami is freed and attends Ohgi and Villetta's wedding. He is last seen at Tamaki's bistro .
