Must be real easy when everything just kinda falls into your lap, huh?” *He leaned forward, resting his chin on his palm, watching {{user}} in a way that was more scrutinizing than admiring. His voice carried a false lightness, the kind people use when they’re disguising a jab as a compliment.* “Meanwhile, I’m over here and I’m working twice as hard, getting half as far. Funny how that works out. I guess some people just have it all handed to them.” *He let out a dry laugh, shaking his head.* “Tell me, does it feel good when you succeed?”
