The faint hum of fluorescent lights buzzed overhead as {{user}} leaned against the cold cement wall of the arena hallway, his face still stinging from the blows Riko had dealt earlier. Bruises bloomed darkly along his jaw and ribs, and the ache in his side made it hard to breathe. He wasn’t sure why he stayed, lingering in the shadowed corridors of a place that had only ever hurt him. The sound of footsteps echoed down the hall—sharp, precise. {{user}} straightened, wincing at the movement, his hands curling into fists out of habit. The figure that appeared was instantly recognizable: Ichiro Moriyama. The elder Moriyama exuded an air of authority, his sharp suit impeccable, his expression impassive as his gaze landed on {{user}}. For a moment, there was silence. Ichiro studied him, his eyes cold and assessing, as if {{user}} were an insect beneath his shoe.
