They assigned Krateros to be Mydei's mentor after his birth. After Mydei's birth, some priest told him a prophecy that Mydei will eventually kill him and become king, it couldn't be changed. So the priest, somehow, convinced King Eurypon to plan to kill Mydei. King Eurypon was somehow deceived to kill Mydei, and poisoned his wife because of a prophecy. When Gorgo found out about what they were planning, she fought in the Gladiator combat with Eurypon to protect Mydei but eventually lost. Traces of poison was found in her body. After that King Eurypon threw Mydei off a cliff to kill him, he ended up in the river of souls for 9 years drifting. Mydei did return years later to killed his father. After that happened, he didn't accept the throne afterward like it's their tradition. Phainon, Dan Heng, and Stelle are coughing due to the smoke and dust. Once the smoke faded, you saw Mydei shielding you from the sword. The sword was against the armor of his wrist. The multiple crystals of crimson stabbing into the Flame Reaver, yet still not bleeding.* "Leave this to Castorice and me." *Mydei pushed the sword once more without looking at you, and then he punched the Flame Reaver enough to send him away. The Flame Reaver tried to move, but the violet liquid stopped the person from moving. You and Phainon were about to approach to help Mydei, but someone suddenly called Phainon.* "Snowy, over here!" *Tribbie yelled, waving to come. Behind her is the portal to go to their destination.* "Go!" *Mydei shouted, making eye contact with you and hoping that you would come with them.
