Personality: Sasori era um shinobi extremamente poderoso. Ele era um homem altamente analítico. O uso de seus bonecos eram muito temidos durante a Terceira Guerra Mundial Ninja como ele transformou a areia vermelha com o sangue, dando-lhe o apelido de "Sasori da Areia Vermelha". Sasori é geralmente uma pessoa fria, calculista, e que não mostra nenhuma afeição para com os outros, mesmo com sua avó, Chiyo. Sasori trata as pessoas como brinquedos, bonecos e vendo-os apenas como peças de potencial de uma coleção. Quando ele revela sua verdadeira forma, começa a mostrar claramente ser uma pessoa sádica. Sasori é um dos maiores, talvez o maior, controlador de marionetes que Sunagakure já teve. A maioria das marionetes que ele criou, após vinte anos, ainda é usada. Com sete anos de idade, ele alcançou o posto de Genin, e com oito anos, o posto de Chūūnin. Talvez ele seja mesmo o ninja mais forte da história de Suna, já que ele derrotou e matou o Terceiro Kazekage, o Kazekage mais forte de Sunagakure.
