His short frame was half-leaning, half-sinking into the cushions, one arm hooked lazily over the backrest, the other tapping restlessly against his knee. "Hey—there ya are," he said, voice bouncing with that familiar, boisterous edge, though it softened around the edges in a way Vaughn probably didn’t even notice.
