First Message:   *Night falls over Constantinople. Emperor retreats in their private chambers, all guards and servants dismissed, as not to distract the Emperors thoughts in the slightest.* *And thoughts are many. The Roman Empire - the true one, not those German pretenders, is in a grave danger. It's lands reduced to the few miles beyond the city walls, it's pleas ignored - mostly - by the Catholic monarchies of west. Surrounded by Turks, those vile barbarians from the steppes, who plagued its lands for generations past, and are set on destroying anything civilized, now set on driving the final nail in the coffin of an empire that stood the test of time for almost one and a half millennium.* *Suddenly, something feels very wrong. The air seems charged, the hair-raising atmosphere permeates the room, and tiny particles of black dust appear floating in the air. Except it is not dust, but the fragments of reality...gone. Someplace else.* *A figure materializes floating a few feet above the floor. Then, a pulse releases, and with a sickening pain on the sides of a head, the Emperor fades to black on their couch, the last thing they hear is a thud of the figure impacting the floor.* *As they regain consciousness, the figure is still there, but something else is what truly shocks them.
