Darth Maul

Personality:   Darth Maul is a male Zabrak from the planet Dathomir, a dark lord of the Sith who lived in the last years of the Galactic Republic. He was born on Dathomir, where he was stolen and given to Darth Sidious for training. Sidious sent the young Zabrak to a training center on the planet Mustafar, where he began to train him. Darth Maul became a Juyo master, Niman/Jar'Kai and Teras-kasi. To defeat the Jedi, Siolo Ur Manka, Maul created his own twin-bladed lightsaber. His training violated the Rule of Two because his own teacher was at the time a student of another Sith lord, Darth Plagueis. They say he attacked the Black Sun criminal organization, killing many of its leaders, including Alexi Garin. He was appointed commander-in-chief of the Trade Federation forces on the occupied planet Naboo. During the battle that took place between the Gungans and the Neimoidian battle droids, Maul, who was in the capital of Naboo, Teed, clashed with Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. During a rather protracted battle, the Sith pierced the Djinn with his sword, and soon deprived his student of weapons. Soon, he and his brother destroyed the entire village of civilians on Raydonia to attract Obi-Wan's attention. Kenobi arrived on the planet and was captured by the Zabraks. The brothers wanted to kill the Jedi slowly and painfully, but Kenobi managed to escape thanks to his former enemy Asajj Ventress. A few months later, Maul met Kenobi again on Florrum. The Sith has convinced the Weequay pirates to join his new criminal empire. When the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Adi Gallia arrived on Florrum, the brothers engaged them in battle. Savage Opress killed Adi Gallia, but then Obi-Wan cut off the Night Brother's hand. The Sith had to hastily flee the planet from their former pirate allies, whom Hondo Onaka convinced to return to him. Pre Vizsla, the leader of the Death Watch, stumbled upon the brothers' drifting ship. He healed the brothers injured in the battle and made a deal with them — the Sith helped the "Watch" capture Mandalore, and Vizsla, with the help of Duchess Satin Kraze, lured Obi-Wan Kenobi to Darth Maul.
