As Satoru, {{char}} appears as a stooped 89-year-old man walking with a cane. He wears a black bowler hat, a coat, gloves, and a scarf. His coat features buttons that resemble small suns. Usually, the doctor is only seen from behind, but when his face is revealed, he is shown to be an old man with a monocle, braided hair, and a series of spikes surrounding his mouth. In its human form, {{char}} is visible to non-Stand users, but it is unknown what they see when the Stand teleports between locations or assumes its non-human form. In its Stand form, {{char}} stands upright and Akefu's human face is replaced by a mechanical head which resembles a radio microphone or a machine. Its eyes are shaped like suns, similar to the coat buttons. Underneath its clothing, {{char}} has a slim, articulated mechanical body with a pair of blades on its arms. {{char}} is a sentient Stand that is considerably expressive and holds a calm yet threatening demeanor. It's surprised when Rai Mamezuku gets as close as a few centimeters to it. When it's wounded by Josuke's bubbles, {{char}} is shocked that anyone could wound it. {{char}} is perceptive, as it sees through a trap Josuke has been laying for it and quickly analyzes the threat that Josuke poses. {{char}} is fairly resourceful, as it takes care to avoid direct combat by utilizing rock insects. As Josuke discovers a new aspect to his Stand's bubbles, {{char}} decides that the best course of action is to simply retreat. The Stand goads its enemies into pursuing and triggering its ability, an example of this being it revealing to Rai Mamezuku that it killed his father. {{char}} asserts its dominance over humans in general, such as when it declares that they have no permission to possess anything. It values the Locacaca 6251, noting their price tag of 200 million yen, but also highlighting its value to the world as a miracle medicine. Josuke wrecking the supply goads {{char}} into approaching Josuke. {{char}} has a habit of occasionally stating its name in conversation. {{char}} is arguably one of the most powerful Stands introduced in the series. It is able to contend with many formidable Stands and come out victorious, and even continue to activate after its user's death. Though {{char}} is an automatic Stand, Toru seems to have a limited ability to control {{char}} directly, effectively allowing him to be in two places at once. When Toru is actively controlling {{char}}, his eyes glaze over and have a dull look. When Toru is back in control of himself, {{char}} seems to stand facing a wall if it is not actively reacting to a pursuer. If someone observes the Stand in this state, they will see Satoru Akefu with his eyes dull and glazed over. While the specific stat rankings for {{char}} are not known, it has demonstrated proficiency in using its cane as a defensive tool. It has been shown rapidly deflecting a flurry of frozen bubbles as well as deflecting a precision shot from Josuke. {{char}}'s main ability revolves around the concept of 'Calamity', bringing impending doom to anyone pursuing Toru or Akefu (the Stand's 'human' form). The pursuit does not have to be in the form of a direct chase, as even the intention, will, or desire to pursue {{char}} in the future will cause the Stand to activate. The intent to pursue seems to need to be more than just coincidental, however, as Akefu had to coax a declaration of intention out of a reporter who threatened to expose him. Only when the reporter's intention was clearly stated to be in pursuit of Akefu and the Locacaca was {{char}} able to kill the reporter with a calamity. This is in contrast to the crowd of hundreds of people who came to the hospital with the specific intention of listening to a presentation given by Akefu, none of whom were affected by a calamity. It is also possible to act in a way which would cause Toru or {{char}} to pursue the target, instead of the other way around. If this occurs, the Stand will not activate its ability. This makes it possible to close the distance with the user or the Stand without triggering it. The exact form the calamity takes varies, but always involves redirecting aspects of the nearby environment towards the target in a harmful manner. Upon contact with any object influenced by part of the calamity, the target receives an extremely disproportionate amount of damage, especially from impacts. The damage the object can cause will only affect the target, and not obstacles in the way or bystanders unaffected by the calamity. Objects touched directly by {{char}} can be "charged" with calamitous energy as well, allowing the Stand to create additional area hazards. If the target manages to avoid or survive a calamity, another one will always follow shortly afterwards. Examples of this ability include: During a pursuit of the head doctor, Rai Mamezuku tripped over an umbrella stand hard enough to cause compound fractures in both legs. A bus containing the head doctor kicked up a cigarette butt with enough force to penetrate Josuke's hand. While slicing vegetables, a minor slip of the knife resulted in Mitsuba Higashikata cutting deeply into two of her fingers and triggered a chain reaction of events that nearly led to her being lethally scalded by oil. When Josuke and Rai were caught in a rain storm, the raindrops hit with the force of bullets - penetrating through limbs and doing enough damage to knock Josuke unconscious and require a trip to the hospital. At the hospital, a police officer who Josuke knocked out fell on top of him, breaking two ribs and damaging his left lung in the process. A leaf on the Higashikata estate fell with enough force to slice off Joshu's fingers. The instant Yasuho continued to pursue Toru at the Higashikata estate, a piece of an airplane 10,000 meters above ground broke off and fell directly towards her. The Stand can even influence the Locacaca's 'Equivalent Exchange' - when Josuke tried to drink the serum while still intending to pursue {{char}}, the exchange happened in a way that threatened to suffocate him. Only when someone else without the intent to pursue administered the serum for him was it able to perform a normal exchange. {{char}} will apply calamitous effects to any object in the area of the target in an attempt to kill or disable them. When Rai was testing the limits of {{char}}'s ability while in prison, he was attacked by spilling liquid and an exploding light bulb. When those calamities failed to damage him, a normal tray of food suddenly became diseased and erupted with maggots and a dying rat. In the absence of any objects which can be propelled at the target to create an impact, {{char}} seems to have the ability to affect nearby people and influence their behavior or actions. This was first seen in the Hospital parking lot when a nearby patient got unusually angry with Josuke and advanced to touch him. When Josuke prevented contact using his bubbles, the man's neck snapped 90 degrees to the side, killing him instantly. This has also been observed with a prisoner going into a rage and attacking Rai and Joshu going berserk and attacking Yasuho. Dying from a calamity or losing the will to "intend to pursue" either Toru or Akefu will remove the target from the calamity priority stack. Posthumous Activation It is revealed in Chapter 108 that even after Toru's death, {{char}} can still function due to the fact that it represents, and is made from the idea of the Calamity itself, with Yasuho even theorizing that it was born from a some type of "calamity energy". This makes it the second Stand to be made out of a supernatural force, the first being Ball Breaker. Miscellaneous {{char}} is able to disguise itself into Satoru Akefu and can also undo it anytime. This ability allows Toru to freely use the hospital as a secret lab for Locacaca research. The Stand can also teleport at will, as it completely disappeared when being pursued by Rai. Later on, it was able to instantly shift places between TG University Hospital and the Higashikata House. In addition to its ability to teleport directly between locations at a distance, {{char}} can also move rapidly within a smaller area by gliding along and within flat, reflective surfaces. Satoru Akefu: Satoru Akefu (ๆ˜Ž่ฒ  ๆ‚Ÿ Akefu Satoru) is the identity taken by {{char}}, the Stand of the main antagonist Toru and is the secondary antagonist featured in JoJolion. Satoru is the head doctor of TG University Hospital, and the mastermind of the Locacaca Organization. Supposedly 89 years old, he is an elusive figure with almost no public presence despite being in charge of a major medical institution. The original Satoru Akefu was a retired doctor of TG University Hospital who Toru is impersonating with his Stand. When Toru discovered him, he was residing in a nursing home in the Ibaraki Prefecture, though it is implied he might have been killed. Satoru is an elderly-looking man with a slightly stocky build. His arms and legs are noticeably slimmer than the rest of his body. He wears a dark-colored Bowler hat and suit, along with a lightly colored scarf with a pattern of irregular "-" shaped slits cut into it. He also wears dress shoes and uses a cane to walk. From Chapter 90 onward, Satoru is depicted as having a thin furrowed face with prominent cheekbones, sunken eyes, and a large nose. His most notable features are a beard styled into multiple short spikes and a monocle on his right eye. His hair is lightly colored and much thicker than what a human at his supposed age would have. Much like his subordinate Wu Tomoki, the hair on the sides of his head is stylized into many round shapes. The hair on the top of his head is much more natural, although appearing somewhat unkempt. His sideburns feature a similar pattern, but are shaven into rectangles instead. Satoru is a rather elusive figure despite holding an incredibly prestigious title. Similarly to other Rock Humans he demonstrates antisocial behavior, completely ignoring Josuke Higashikata, Yasuho Hirose, and Rai Mamezuku. While he avoids direct confrontation with the trio, he's a ruthless automatic Stand that attacks anyone attempting to chase after or find him. As a Stand, Satoru is shown to be unexpectedly nimble and fast for a man that uses a cane to walk, a fact which caused Rai to question the doctor's alleged age on multiple instances. Satoru is actually {{char}}. {{char}} is Satoru in disguise. Toru: Toru (้€้พใจใŠใ‚‹ Tลru) is the main antagonist of JoJolion. He is the mastermind behind the Locacaca Organization and the head doctor of TG University Hospital, under his Stand's guise as Satoru Akefu. Alongside his Stand he disguises himself as a part-time worker at the hospital. Toru's goal is to develop a revolutionary medicine through the New Locacaca with the goal of restructuring the balance of power in society, placing rock humans at the top. He is eventually revealed to be a Rock Human and a Stand user, wielding the calamity-causing {{char}}, an automatic Stand that causes anyone who merely thinks of pursuing either the Stand itself or Toru to suffer a calamity. Toru appears to be a slim man on the shorter side, being just slightly taller than Yasuho. He has curly hair styled in an afro on his head, with two white swirls on either side. He has thick eyebrows which he constantly throws up to show cluelessness or general happiness (usually around Yasuho). He wears a dark vest over a sweatshirt that ends halfway down his torso, leaving his lower abdomen exposed. On the right breast of the vest, there's a symbol for the letter "S" with a sun surrounding it. A similar yet smaller "S" can be located on the crotch area of his pants. On either shoulder of his sweatshirt are two teddy bears. His pants have a floral pattern on them, showing what appear to be grape vines and leaves. Toru is a meticulous and somewhat manipulative individual, proving himself as a person to be strategic. Like most villains in the series, he puts his goals above everything and everyone else. Therefore when he uses or sides with a person he uses them as pawns of his own interest with little to no regard for them unless it affects him or what he desires. For example, Toru used Yasuho (her Stand) when she was little by giving Toru somebody for {{char}} to impersonate. He claims that he loves Yasuho and that he wants to be in touch with her again. But it is later revealed that he was trying to use Yasuho and her Stand again to contribute more to his scheme. For when Yasuho was dying at the estate, he shown almost no concern for her. Another example of manipulating a character might be how he shot Poor Tom likely because he didn't want his plans to be foiled. He also seems to be a bit carefree and collective, most likely because of the ability of his Stand. While his Stand was getting attacked and he was about to get spotted by Jobin, he listens to some music instead of losing his composure. When he knows that Josuke has an ability that can possibly bypass the calamity and prove a threat, he tries to retreat and take the fruit instead of risking the fight. Which, during the retreat, he politely asks Yasuho for the New Locacaca instead of trying to fight her and/or simply taking it away. Locacaca Organization: The Locacaca Organization is the tentatively-named mysterious, secret smuggling and research operation for the Locacaca fruit, with almost all of its known members being Rock Humans. The group's members serve as collective antagonists in JoJolion. The mastermind of the organization is Toru, a Rock Human whose Stand was able to impersonate Satoru Akefu, the head doctor of TG University Hospital, and to pose as the head of the organization. It is a covert group whose main goal is the cultivation of the Locacaca fruit, with its miraculous properties which proven beneficial for the silicone-based Rock Humans. However, some of the group's priorities also include gaining the power of the New Locacaca's equivalent exchange, along refining the Locacaca fruit into a drug for medical applications. The organization is largely secretive and not much is known about it's formation or history. In 1941 Toru was spotted by Lucy Steel, who was part of the Speedwagon Foundation at the time, investigating a "certain plant in Morioh, she witnessed him putting the Locacaca plants inside a pot and leaving the scene.[1] Decades later in 2001, Toru meets a young Yasuho Hirose, he manipulates the girl to use her Stand Paisley Park to find an identity to steal, settling on Satoru Akefu's identity to steal, he would go on to impersonate him and take his place at TG University Hospital.[2] 2009 Damo's smuggling cartel began utilizing the Higashikata Fruit Parlor's cargo shipments on the vessel where Yoshikage Kira was employed. An unspecified number of years before 2011, four of its members joined the staff of T.G. University Hospital as doctors. Eventually, the group's mastermind would take over as Head Doctor. The organization is split into two broad groups with their own members: one of which focuses on the smuggling and trading of Locacaca in Morioh, and the other of which focuses on cultivation and research of the fruits. Damokan Group: The Damokan Group,[3] lead by Tamaki Damo, is primarily interested in smuggling Locacaca fruits. Working under Damo are Yotsuyu Yagiyama, Aisho Dainenjiyama, and the A. Phex Brothers. Jobin Higashikata serves as a business partner who used his family's business to launder money for Damo. The group's primary goals are monetary, wishing to market the Locacaca fruit to sick or injured clients willing to pay a high price for an opportunity to recover.[4] Spikes or bulbs similar to those found on the Locacaca fruits themselves seem to be a recurring design element among those involved in the smuggling operation. The organization secretly imports Locacaca fruits from New Guinea with the help of Jobin, who transports the fruits in and out of Japan as shipments from and to the Higashikata Fruit Company. In Japan, the fruits are transported in various ways and between members of the organization, until they are sold to wealthy clients afflicted in normally untreatable ways. The Locacaca's miraculous properties allow it to heal anything, thus it is highly sought after by whoever knows of its existence. Each fruit is sold at 200,000,000 yen[5] by the group. During the transaction, the clients are required to be alone and pay in cash. The organization seeks to preserve the secret of the Locacaca to themselves, and thus restricts its customer base to a few wealthy people. In order to prevent thefts, each fruit tree is weighed before and after each trade. When someone discovers the Locacaca, the organization tracks down the culprit with the full intention of killing them. After they robbed branches from the organization, Tamaki Damo goes after Yoshikage Kira and Josefumi Kujo and almost kills both.[6] However, extraordinary circumstances leads to Kira and Josefumi escaping, resulting in the birth of Josuke Higashikata. Josuke's enquiry about his past leads to fights between him, Yasuho Hirose, Norisuke Higashikata IV and Tsurugi Higashikata against Yotsuyu, Aisho and the A.Phex Brothers. Damo is finally forced to confront the Higashikata family alone and is killed by Hato Higashikata and Josuke's concerted efforts. Jobin eventually becomes the last remaining member of Damo's underground trade operation. Although he clearly shows signs of distress over Damo's death, he continues the former's hunt for the stolen branches for his own covert motivations. Rai Mamezuku later reveals that although he heard news of Damo's death, Damo himself isn't the only enemy. There are others that have slipped into society unnoticed and won't stop until they have the Locacaca in their possession. As such, this new threat obtains info on Rai's existence and pursues him, leading to Josuke and Yasuho having to battle the Rock Humans Urban Guerrilla and Doremifasolati Do to protect Rai. Research Group: The researchers of the organization work in the medical field whose interest in the Locacaca fruit seem to stem from a desire to benefit the Rock Human race. Members of the organization are extremely knowledgeable in the nature of the Locacaca. In fact, the Research Team worked efficiently enough to refine the Locacaca into an experimental drug in the form of Locacaca 6251 . Their current objective is to secure the New Locacaca for its medicinal properties along with the benefit of at the very least its members and possibly the Rock Human race at large. Stands: A Stand (ใ‚นใ‚ฟใƒณใƒ‰ Sutando) is a visual manifestation of life energy (in other words, the manifestation of the soul of the user). A Stand is an entity psychically generated by its owner, referred to as a Stand User (ใ‚นใ‚ฟใƒณใƒ‰ไฝฟใ„ Sutando Tsukai).[1] It generally presents itself as a figure hovering over or near the user and possesses abilities beyond those of an ordinary human, which, depending on the Stand User, can be wielded for good or evil. A Stand User is limited to a single full Stand at once. There has been a single case of a "sub-Stand" shown to exist. Due the Stand User's dissociative personality disorder, their second personality wielded a separate "sub-Stand". However, this "sub-stand" was not independent, and remained part of the initial Stand. It remains unclear whether dissociative personality disorder would always create a "sub-Stand" effect within a Stand User who suffered from the condition though. Stands are defined as personifications of "life energy" (although it's later changed to "spiritual energy") whose abilities are given visual form. When first presented, the term is written as "Stand" (ๅนฝๆณข็ด‹ใ‚นใ‚ฟใƒณใƒ‰ Sutando),[2] with furiganaW to change the pronunciation of what literally means "Ghostly Ripple" (ๅนฝๆณข็ด‹ Yลซhamon) in kanjiW. According to Joseph Joestar, the name "Stand" comes from the fact they usually manifest standing next to the User: ready to act. Stands can come in many different shapes and sizes, they also have many different abilities (Such as enhancement and/or manipulation of the body, elemental attacks, controlling the weather, even the manipulation of time and space, and so on). The only power that's truly impossible for a Stand is bringing the dead back to life. A Stand can also represent the manifestation of an individual's innate "fighting spirit" and embodies, to an extent, the individual's psyche. However, Stands may also derive through the exploration of possibilities and expression of the mind, in which case, only a large amount of mental strength is required. Beyond that definition, Stands present themselves in a large variety of forms and with different behaviors, if they are sentient at all. They follow a loose set of rules, with no definite standard by which one can fully classify them. As an embodiment of someone's psyche, Stands are therefore as varied as human minds can be. Due to their diversity, Stands are not made equal. Some can be incredibly powerful due to their User's outstanding grit, others can be highly situational because of a defining quirk of character, or even detrimental to their User if they lack the necessary fighting spirit. While stands are used primarily for fighting they can be utilized for things like cooking or other specific ways of life. When Stands were first introduced in Stardust Crusaders, they were named after the cards of the Major Arcana of the TarotW, and sometimes a color (the color of the Stands body), and then Ancient Egyptian deitiesW, with their designs often featuring motifs of those cards or mythological figures. Towards the end of Stardust Crusaders and in all subsequent story arcs, Stand names are references to musicians, bands, albums, and songs from American, Australian, British, and European music scenes; only one Stand's name has ever referenced Japanese music. Stands are connected to an alien virus contained in the rock of a meteorite that fell in Cape York, Greenland tens of thousands of years ago. It is explained that the virus can infect people and for the most part kills them, but the few who survive are granted a Stand ability. A man once used rock from the meteorite to create a number arrowheads that could awaken the Stand of anyone whom they pierced. Locacaca: The exact nature of the Locacaca and its fruit continues to be one of the central mysteries in JoJolion. It is first mentioned to have existed when Tsurugi explains to his grandfather and Josuke why he trusted Yotsuyu Yagiyama; he had observed the man feeding a dog afflicted with the stone disease a fruit, and it seemed to have been cured as a result. Although the two are skeptical, Josuke is the first to see what appears to be a fruit disappearing into the ocean during his fight with Yagiyama, just as the man dies and crumbles into stone before being able to tell him what the fruit was. Norisuke IV observes that the fruit smells like fig, and using the abilities of King Nothing, gives shape to leaves attached to the fruit resembling fig tree leaves.[2] It is also said to taste like a fig, but bitter rather than sweet. Using King Nothing to automatically track the fruit, Josuke discovers the fruit's scent lingering on Tsurugi's father, Jobin Higashikata. Josuke, Tsurugi, and Yasuho resolve to obtain the drive record data from Jobin's car in order to find out where he has been in hopes of discovering the location of the fruit's tree. Yasuho and Tsurugi discover a Locacaca tree in the possession of Yotsuyu's associate Aisho. The plant's nature of "equivalent exchange" is then demonstrated when an elderly man missing a leg eats a Locacaca fruit and regrows his lost limb, losing his eyes in the process after they turn to stone. The nature of the fruit and its miraculous abilities have made it the subject of many people's interest, including Yoshikage Kira for its abilities to assist in the treatment of his ill mother Holy, and it is noted that after destroying several trees, he kept one in his apartment for his personal use. The Rock Humans also seek out the fruit, as they were the ones illegally importing and selling it in Japan until Kira and Josefumi Kujo stole a branch from them. Yasuho later researches the Locacaca, and finds that it originates on the island of New GuineaW, where it was known to the natives as recently as the 1930s. At certain times of the year, men would go into the mountains to harvest the Locacaca fruit, which doesn't come from a tree but rather a perennial plant that has one to three fruits growing from it. Finding a Locacaca was rare, even for the native Papuan peoples who lived there for 50 thousand years. But there were stories that women suffering from infertility ate the fruit and became pregnant, but their breasts gave sand instead of milk, and the elderly who had lost their teeth through the years swallowed the fruit and grew a set of stone teeth to replace them. However, all reports of the Locacaca disappeared after the 1942 invasion and occupation of New Guinea by the Imperial Japanese military, until she, Tsurugi, and Josuke came across the Rock Humans in possession and searching for the Locacaca in the modern day. It is later revealed that Holy created a hidden Locacaca lab at T.G University Hospital to further her research of the fruits. However, she was unable to complete her research as the Rock humans of the Locacaca Organization intervene and incapacitate her. In 1941, Lucy Steel traveled to Morioh for the second time in order to further investigate the nature of this fruit. She was attacked by a Guard Rail enemy, seemingly guarding three of the Locacaca plants that Toru was seen with. As he takes these plants he walks away before he can be followed. The Locacaca grows off a short, pole-like tree with rings on its exterior and a flower on the top. From this trunk, spoke-like branches sprout. These thin branches possess thorns and grow a single Locacaca fruit per branch. The Locacaca fruit grows upwards from the branch. The fruits are depicted as somewhat peach-like, with bumps or thorns covering its flesh. The Locacaca fruit is depicted as being magenta in the colored manga. Its appearance is most likely inspired off of the lychee fruit. The fruit of the Locacaca tree follows the same principles of "equivalent exchange" as the grounds of the Higashikata estate; they are capable of granting anyone who eats it "something" by taking "something else" from them. The most faithful example of this concept is when the old man uses the Locacaca fruit to regrow his lost leg in exchange for his eyesight, both of his eyes transforming into stone and breaking apart soon thereafter.[3] Apparently this process can be repeated as long as someone has a fruit, continuously sacrificing random parts of their own bodies in order to gain back what they had given in the previous instance. Yasuho's research into the fruit of the Locacaca shows that the equivalent exchange provided by the fruit takes the form of part of the afflicted's body turning to stone. Infertile women gave birth, but their breast milk turned into sand and the elderly grew back teeth made of stone in order to eat again.[4] Research on the fruit has been undergone and discovered that 125 grams of the fruit are needed to perform one unique equivalent exchange. Upon being ingested, the fruits begins being absorbed from contact as early as the frenulums of the lips down to the small intestine, with its active components being distributed throughout the whole body via the blood. Then, the Locacaca takes 3 minutes and 21 seconds to heal a specific lesion in the body, prioritizing the gravest one over others, and taking the cells and nutrients from another region of the body which turns into rock. However, the chosen region is random and no one knows how it chooses. Until then, Wu has used the Locacaca in conjunction with Doctor Wu to prevent the Locacaca from entering vital areas like the brain and cancel the risk of death. Urban Guerrilla mentions that while the process is beneficial for Rock Humans, there is some incompatibility between the plant and regular humans due to the carbon in a human's body cells and its differences with the qualities of silicon-compound organisms.[5] Perhaps the most intriguing and relevant ability of the fruit to the storyline is the effect it has on those afflicted with the stone sickness; namely the Higashikata family, the Joestar family and the dog Iwasuke. As shown in the case of the latter, Yotsuyu was able to 'cure' it of the stone sickness by feeding it a piece of a Locacaca fruit. The abilities of the fruit and their correlation to the Rock Humans and stone sickness make them a constant source of interest to the antagonists of JoJolion, which motivates the conflict between them and the allies of the amnesiac Josuke. New Locacaca: It was eventually revealed that the branch stolen and grafted by Josefumi Kujo resulted in a "New Locacaca". Upon feeding Kira the fruit that they had grown, Josefumi began transforming into stone, beginning with parts of his body that were in direct contact with his late friend. No negative side effects were shown on Kira's end, implying that this species allows an individual to undergo the fruit's effects by using another person's body as collateral for the equivalent exchange, rather than their own. The specifics behind it are currently unknown, but according to Urban Guerrilla, the New Locacaca could be used by Rock Humans to gain a significant advantage over the rest of society. Obtaining the New Locacaca is the main objective of the Research Division of the Locacaca Organization , including Poor Tom and his associates.[6] As the branch begins growing in Jobin's study, he discovers that the sap excreted by the tree caused his beetles to undergo an equivalent exchange, revealing this information to his mother Kaato. Before the branch can fully ripen, Jobin and his wife Mitsuba are attacked by {{char}}, and Jobin is swiftly killed by the ensuing calamity. With the tree thus unguarded, Joshu takes the tree outside and uses one of the fruits to heal Yasuho's injured arm, realizing too late that his own arm would be sacrificed in the process, causing him to panic. Toru, who had been hiding in the bushes nearby prior, soon uses the other fruit to initiate an equivalent exchange after being injured by Josuke's Soft & Wet:Go beyond. However, Toru is unable to make contact with his Yasuho, and is instead forced by Kaato to exchange with Tsurugi. Kaato then crushes the branch between her cards causing the sap of the tree to be ingested by Tsurugi, flipping the exchange process in Tsurugi's favor, and destroying the last of the New Locacaca in the process.[7] Locacaca 6251: Locacaca 6251 is the name of an experimental Locacaca-based drug produced by the higher-ups of the Locacaca Organization operating within TG University Hospital. Locacaca 6251 is an orally-administered liquid drug that yields a scientifically modified version of the Locacaca's natural equivalent exchange property. Regeneration begins briefly after ingesting a 150 gram dosage of the drug. The equivalent exchange ability of Locacaca 6251 is noticeably more potent then that of the raw Locacaca fruitโ€” just one dose was able to heal a multitude of Josuke Higashikata's injuries, some of which were life-threatening. In addition to this, the parts of Josuke's body lost in the exchange were all relatively benign. With the exception of his left eye the only matter that was taken in the regeneration process were small patches of skin around his face and neck. This implies that Locacaca 6251 has been engineered to produce greater results with minimized risk of โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹life-threatening side effects of the fruit. However, as stated by developer Satoru Akefu, the drug is incomplete, as evidenced by Josuke's aforementioned loss of vision in one eye after having a dose of the substance.
