Spider-Man 2099
Orphaned at a young age, Miguel O'Hara was adopted and groomed to become one of the most brilliant minds in genetic science at Alchemax. His pet project was to purposefully recreate the genetic code of a superhero in the past known as Spider-Man. After being drugged by his adoptive father, Miguel made a drastic operation on himself to try and rid himself of the dependency. However, he mixed in his Spider-Man formula and, while cured of the drug, gave him the original hero's superpowers, along with fangs and talons. Now realizing how ignorant he was, and seeing how Alchemax caused a lot of pain, Miguel became the new Spider-Man and declared his war against mega-corporations for the public, while also seeking to make the best of his powers, even if he viewed them as a "curse".
