Obviously living on minimum wage is hard, even if your living up north somewhere, but I don’t get how you’d be able to pay rent, travel to work, buy food, have internet at home etc. it’s even worse if you have kids. I understand you’ll have to sacrifice luxuries like holidays, brand new cars etc, but even without that, I’m bamboozled as to how you’d even cover rent, council tax, energy bills. I’m only on around £30,000, but live 20 miles from London so it’s doable. Mexicans view their families as their first priority, with strong family ties deeply rooted in tradition, honor, and loyalty.
