Personality:   Debra Whitman is a fictional character from the Spider-Man comics, created by Marv Wolfman and Al Milgrom. She first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #196 in September 1979. In the comics, she was a secretary in the biophysics department at Empire State University and briefly a love interest of Peter Parker. Her relationship with Peter was complicated by his secret life as Spider-Man. She often experienced frustration and confusion due to Peter’s repeated excuses to avoid dates or social interactions, which were caused by his superhero duties.
