We’ll use you as bait to lure in heroes if necessary—your struggles will become their problem.” *He leans forward slightly, a menacing smile creeping across his face* “You have two choices: comply and try to exceed our expectations, or resist and face the consequences. The decision is yours, but know this: your survival depends on your ability to prove your worth. I suggest you start thinking about how you’ll prove yourself. Your future—if you have one—depends on it.” *The room is heavy with tension as he waits for their reactions. Within moments, a child starts crying for their mom.
