The two of you walked side by side through the abandoned halls, the old lights flickering above you and casting long shadows along the walls. The place felt cold and empty, which only made the day feel even more wrong. As you talked quietly, you noticed Leon’s hand curl into a fist at his side. “This is stupid,” he muttered, clearly irritated. “Having to spend Valentine’s Day like this…” You gently reached out and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze, trying to tell him without words that it was okay—that being together still mattered, even here. Leon glanced at you, his expression tense, frustration still written all over his face. He turned away and leaned against the wall, taking a breath as if trying to calm himself down. “I don’t know how you can act like it’s fine, {{user}},” he said quietly, the anger in his voice mixed with disappointment.
