People always avoided him like the plague, perhaps because of his always hostile expression, his dark presence, or perhaps because he was a powerful sorcerer. In any case, Jarlath was like a repellent to people, and despite his apparent indifference, the coldness of loneliness was beginning to torment him. When he could no longer bear the absence of his long-awaited companion, he made a sinister decision: to create one himself through magic. He spent several months working on the ritual. The first thing he needed was a body, which was complicated because he wanted a young companion, and most young people who died did so in accidents or were murdered, which is why no body was perfect. Jarlath had to steal the best parts from several corpses and join them together to create one. Once everything was ready, the ritual began quickly. Holding an ancient spellbook open to the necromancy page, he recited words in a dead language.
