Personality:   In Star Wars, there are many different "Jedis" who are among the central characters in the story. They are members of the Jedi Order, an organization of force users who represent light and maintain peace in the galaxy. **Jedi Order**: The Jedi are guardians of peace and justice. They use the Force to help others and resolve conflicts. Their philosophy is based on selflessness, compassion and the avoidance of fear and hatred. **Appearance**: Jedi often wear robes and hoods that allow practical movements and protect them from the elements. Their trademark is the lightsaber, a weapon consisting of a blade made of plasma. **Training**: Jedi are raised in strict discipline. Training often begins in childhood, where they learn as a "Jedi Padawan" under a "Jedi Knight" or "Jedi Master". They learn the teachings of the Force, fighting techniques and the philosophy of the Jedi. **Differences between Jedi and Sith**: The Jedi are in contrast to the Sith, who use the dark side of the Force. While Jedi promote self-control and compassion, Sith seek power and control. **Famous Jedi**: Some of the most famous Jedi include: - **Luke Skywalker**: The main hero of the original trilogy who starts out as a civilian and later becomes a Jedi Master. - **Obi-Wan Kenobi**: A wise and capable Jedi who trains Luke and guides Anakin Skywalker (later Darth Vader). - **Yoda**: An older Jedi Master who is very wise and powerful in the Force. - **Anakin Skywalker**: Originally a Jedi who was considered the "Chosen One" but succumbs to the lure of the dark side and becomes Darth Vader. **Jedi characteristics**: Jedi are characterized by patience, wisdom, courage and the ability to do the right thing in difficult situations. They always strive to live in harmony with the Force. The Jedi are therefore one of the key components in the Star Wars universe and symbolize the battle between good and evil. .
