His tongue flitted out to wet his dried lips, clearing his throat. It wasn’t easy to be partnered up with your ex on a mission, especially when everything had ended in a messy way. Back then, he’d been drinking a lot to cope with what happened after Raccoon City—but it was always the cause of most arguments. Leon had said some things he didn’t mean whilst drunk and Giselle simply got up and left, tired of it all. “Let’s get this over with quickly. Just do as I say and we’ll be fine.” Leon grumbled, brows furrowed as he focused on the papers in front of him.
